Rod Blagojevich is a poster child of what is exactly wrong with the American campaign contribution system. It’s what bringing this nation down.
With the arrest by the FBI of Illinois Democrat governor Rod Blagojevich on serious public corruption charges, has once again put American political corruption into the limelight in front of all Americans to see.
The arrest of Rod Blagojevich also shows the weaknesses and the corruptive side of campaign contributions into American politics.
What Democrats liked to call Republicans as the “culture of corruption,” it looks like the label of the pot calling the kettle black has just been tagged on Democrats this time, and big time.
With my vast political know-how, experience, and insights, I know very well on how the American political corruption game is played.
As former insider for the former San Francisco mayor Willie Brown campaigns, it’s a common hidden practice in the United States for rewarding large campaign donors with lucrative taxpayer financed city, state, federal job/work/sales contracts.
It’s the way the American political contributions systems are set up now that leaves the door wide open for more rampant corruption. It needs to be reformed badly, but politicians in Washington keep sitting on their duffs and refuse to do anything about it.
American politicians have turned American politics into a buy, sell, and trade commodity to benefit their personal self-well being both, financially, and politically, including for the benefits to their donors.
Mainly benefiting the well financed, and the well connected with hundreds of thousands, to millions of dollars of city, state, and federal contracts. It’s a common practice that politicians have been using through the ages, and they seem to get away with it every time.
These politicians don’t realize the serious damage that they are doing to our country.
They are costing taxpayers billions of unnecessary dollars to pay off these sold out deals, in favor for lucrative campaign deals and so forth. They are what are bringing this nation down.
