Victory for American Gun Owners; Democrats Back-Off the Volatile Gun Issue After New Poll Results & Leaving Obama on his Own:

It looks like President Barack Obama might be facing his first public policy defeat of his new administration. After trying to arouse some key Democrats, to push forward for more stringent gun control measures, it now looks like he’s left on his own and he’s being rendered pretty much powerless to keep on pursuing the issue.

Pro-gunners are winning their fight in congress these days. With all of the recent shootings going in New York’s mass shooting, to Pittsburgh, and Oakland California, anti-gunners are resuming their gun control cries. Such groups as the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence and others, but their calls seem to be falling on deaf ears in both congress and statehouses across the country.

“The silence has been deafening” says Dennis Goldford, a Drake University political scientist, says of lawmakers’ response to new incidents of gun violence across the country.
In the 1989s and 1990s gun control debates were a staple of political discourse. But in recent years, the Democratic Party, with the intent on expanding the party’s natural constituency, has abandoned efforts to impose new restrictions on gun ownership.

“On the national level this issue is considered toxic by Democrats,” said Ross Baker an expert on congress at Rutgers University. “A lot has to do with Democrats capturing seats that were traditionally held by Republicans”

Even though President Barack Obama is quite adamant in bringing more gun controls, he has no backers in congress. From Senator Harry Reid to Representative Nancy Pelosi, they both have been very outspoken about their refusals to participate in any gun control measures.

The new reality behind their reluctance was reflected in recent Gallup polls that found record low support for gun restrictions. It’s the lowest ever, public support against more gun regulations in 50 years since they started keeping track of the issue.

And now we have got columnist Cynthia Tucker’s “As I See It,” complaining about lack of gun controls. Her rants in her recently released columns blast the American gun culture and the lack of more stringent gun enforcements. Instead of going through her med-crazed rants, I just want to tell her study the American Constitution you ding-bat.

The left is losing this battle badly. It’s a real testament to the NRA and other pro-gun groups and the thousands upon thousands of pro-gun bloggers like me. People are being educated about our Second Amendment and the right to keep and bear arms. If anything, the Gallup poll shows, is that people are finally connecting guns with the Second Amendment as part of the American constitution.

If history dictates with these Democrats, history is destined to repeat itself once again, gun controls might doom them one more time and then again, President Barack Obama is definitely the patsy for it.

Let’s back track a minute into former President Bill Clinton’s administration. When President Bill Clinton took office on January 20th 1993, he immediately went on his anti-gun crusades.
Bill Clinton immediately brought in the people to do his dirty work, like Attorney General Janet (Jimmy Hoffa in Drag) Reno, and nominated his yes man and avid anti-gunner enforcer Louis Freeh as head of the FBI. During his acceptance speech in 1993, Freeh, the new FBI Chief said that he would “diligently go after all gun owners if he was asked to.”

President Bill Clinton then recruited a close ally in the Senate, a Dianne Feinstein, a known gun owner herself, to draw up a bill to begin the work for disarming Americans.

President Bill Clinton also thought, along with his Democratic cronies that public opinion was on their side for pushing his gun control agenda. Bill Clinton came right after the Randy Weaver and Ruby Ridge incident, which he used with the Media, as his battle cry for more gun controls.

And then on April 19th, 1993, along came the David Koresh and the Waco killings, where over 70 innocent women and children were murdered by Janet Reno and her Fed thugs, over an illegal size of a shotgun. This was definitely a gun control attack to the MAX by the Bill Clinton administration without doubt.

Oh boy and how deadly wrong was President Bill Clinton on this issue. American gun ownership was under such heavy attacks by the Bill Clinton administration, it eventually backfired against his party.

Americans became fed up by these Gestapo type incidents against gun owners; I think Waco was the tipping point for Democrats, the voters finally got rid of Democrats, and on November 8th 1994, the voters brought in a Republican controlled congress for the first time in 40 years! A little time after that a watered down banning of assault weapons that Dianne Feinstein wrote successfully passed.

In less than two years President Bill Clinton was able to squander away a complete Democratic Party controlled house and senate, over his sheer arrogance and ways that he and his justice department went against some Americans, and against our inherent rights protected by our Second Amendment, the right to keep and bear arms.
