European Voters Thrash Left-Wing-Liberals in European Union Parliamentary Elections; Things to Come for President Obama if Domestic Policies Fail?

European Voters Thrash Left-Wing-Liberals in European Union Parliamentary Elections; Things to Come for President Obama if Domestic Policies Fail?
By Marc Chamot

“Tonight is a very difficult evening for “Socialists” in many nations in Europe,” said Martin Shultz, the leader of the socialist in the European Parliament.

While socialism is taking its roots into Latin America, and possibly the United States with President Barack Obama, Europeans went to the polls Sunday, and told their left leaning liberals in Europe, that enough was enough, and no more.

This has become a masse historical thrashing of any left-wing liberals in recent memory.

Conservatives came to power in Europe’s largest and most influential economies. Voters punished these left wing politicians by handing them a devastating defeat, all because of numerous, and serious social problems that keeps happening within their own countries, including the devastating European economical meltdowns’ that is crippling the European continent.

Basically this whole brouhaha was over “FAILED” bailouts, and failed job productivities through these bailouts and stimulus’s. Does this also sound familiar here at home, folks? Does Barack Obama ring a bell?

Some key European nations were spending billions of Euros to help keep major companies solvent and above water, and they spent billions more on fiscal stimulus which didn’t bring any results. But these left wing liberals wanted more money thrown down into the gauntlet.

These European Union elections have basically put conservatives in the drivers’ seat, and they will now control between 263 and 273, compared to the losing liberal’s 155 to 165 seats.

Governments in power are Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, while conservatives were also leading in Britain and Spain.

Greece was the only exception where their conservatives in power were thrown out in favor of left wing liberals.

Germany’s Social Democrats (left-wingers,) got their biggest shellacking since World War Two. All of this good news bids favorable for the futures of conservatives’ leaders like Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel and France’s President Nicolas Sarkozy.

Even though only 43 percent of 375 million eligible voters cast ballots in these European Parliamentary elections, it was a record low turnout because of amid widespread disenchantment over poor government mismanagement of economical affairs.

Many of these “failed” socialists ran on the propagandas and agendas that conservatives weren’t spending enough money to bail out more companies and stimulate the economies. An absolute semblance of what our very own President Barack Obama is doing here in America, even when the majority of Americans don’t support this fallacy.

Britain elected its first far right politician to the European Parliament, with the British National Party winning a seat in Northern England. This far right Party is also expected to win more seats in England as the results come in.

Hello? Is President Barack Obama listening to all of this? Are the European Union’s elections results telling you something?

As for President Barack Obama, he hasn’t got a whole lot of time left to create an economical jolt into this country and help save all of the millions of jobs that are being lost.

But, it looks like President Obama might be getting a little more serious about jobs after all. With this report in the New York Times, and after reading it, I don’t think it’s enough to save jobs; it’s only a cosmetic type dressing to cover the ugliness.

Obama’s going to have to dig deeper into NAFTA and WTO’s, and also look into China and bring those American industries back, and increasing import tariffs to save our own failing industries at home. These are the only “real” solutions for a "real” man to make, if he’s a man for this country.

Obama Touts Job Creation in Plan

WASHINGTON — President Obama said Monday that he expected his economic stimulus package to save or create an additional 600,000 jobs this summer — including 125,000 for teenagers — as the federal government spends billions to expand care at health centers, spruce up national parks, hire teachers and improve military facilities.

Confronted with rising unemployment and skepticism from Republicans who question whether his recovery package is doing any good, Mr. Obama made the announcement at the outset of a Cabinet meeting. During the meeting, Vice President Joseph R. Biden, Jr., outlined what the administration is calling a “Roadmap to Recovery” — 10 major initiatives that, Mr. Biden said, would “build momentum and accelerate job growth” over the next 100 days.

Last week, the Department of Labor reported that the national unemployment rate reached 9.4 percent in May, the highest in more than 25 years. Even as the president tried to talk up the jobs created by the stimulus bill, his advisers have been trying to tamp down expectations that the unemployment figures would decline again anytime soon.

“The president was very clear when he enacted the stimulus that it was going to take some time to work through the system and that unemployment was going to go up and go up for some time,” Mr. Obama’s senior adviser, David Axelrod, said Sunday on the CBS program Face the Nation. Another top economic adviser to Mr. Obama, Austan Goolsbee, predicted “a rough patch.”

Maybe they only left the Left after many years of it in which case we have a while to go, too.

Let's hope that voters wake up real soon and realize that Jimmy Carter II is no one to run this nation of ours!

Marc,
Liberals got around 80 seats (in Europe liberal means; conservative on fiscal issues and progessive on social and ethical issues)
The social democrats got 150 (around) Christian Democrats 230....but the ultra right and left wing around 80 seats and socialists and greens around 40...)
Republicans in the USA are far much more conservative than EU christian democrats.
There were no really fin bail outs in Europe. I will tell you how europe deal with this and why americans pay in the end more tax than for example the 'Social' Dutch...tomorrow on my blog.))

Great post, I have been watching what Europe was doing since it resembles our own path here in the U.S. I hope more Americans will see the similarities and come out of the Kool-Aid fog
