The Democratic National Party is extremely concerned; no, let me make it clearer, they are deathly afraid of the upcoming 2010 Midterms.

All signs are pointing to an imminent defeat for their party in the upcoming midterms.

They have allowed fringe groups of left-wing, and leftist liberals to hijack the hierarchy of the party to direct policies, which the majority of Americans don’t support, nor want to have ANY part of it.

What’s KILLING the Democrats and their party, they are coming up with very bad policies which most Americans don’t like and want.

Even though there are proofs that most of these policies are very bad for the economy and jobs, but some of those policies could also be total failures for our economy, if Democrats don’t stop pursuing and pushing for these bad policies on the people, it will be their very own DEMISE.

There are many reasons as to why folks are becoming extremely leery and worried about Democrats these days; people around the nation are beginning to lose faith with their archaic left-wing policies, and trust in President Barack Obama and his Democratic leadership cohorts in congress collapsing fast.

They want to enact the exact the very same pro-environmentalists policies nation wide and globally, with their global warming’s, and trade and caps stuff, that California has been doing for this past decade, which is the root cause that is bankrupting the state into oblivion.

A recent California economical congressional report showed that California’s pro-environmentalists, with their politicos in Sacramento, with their anti-business and far left leaning policies and regulations, their inept policies have cost the state of California dearly. 500 billion dollars’ in lost tax revenues, with massive exoduses of businesses and 4 million lost jobs.

Because of their very stringent and way out of control environmental regulations, they are now practically destroying the state of California’s economy entirely.

The Story: “A new report published this week found that the state’s overcomplicated regulations cost California businesses nearly $500 billion annually and close to 4 million jobs.

The study, done by the Center for Small Business at Sacramento State University, found that California would receive $16 billion in business taxes without the regulations. And the report seems to jibe with other recent surveys, which found California among the least attractive locales for business in the country.

“It’s not uncommon for the permitting process to involve millions of dollars and take as long as 10 years,” Gino DiCaro of the California Manufacturers & Technology Association said.

Expect lawmakers to use the finding to try to push the state to untie itself. The handcuffing regulations cost California businesses an average of $134,000, or $13,800 per household. And the 3.8 million jobs lost equate to one-tenth of California’s population, with nearly half the cost through lost labor income." See: Arduous regulations are bad for business

This is an example of agenda driven politics that is coming from Democrats that most Americans don’t want.

It’s absolutely absurd putting businesses and people out of work, including risking serious economical downfalls for communities and cities’, for left winged ideologies. Not only their ideologies are killing tax revenues, but it’s killing jobs and the global economy.

This is a national disaster; this is what the left-wing environmentalists have been building up to, politically and educationally through their liberal controlled universities, throughout these years, and mainly in California.

And now two things that I’ve been saying on my blogs all along are now becoming a harsh reality, and to the sad chagrin for Democrats, it could doom them in the upcoming elections.

It’s nothing new, but for months I have been writing about Independents leaving the Democrats in droves, even those who voted in favor for Democrats during the past two midterms. With new polls coming out, more Independents are being confirmed abandoning Obama in droves; Independents desert Obama, putting 2010 in play “Independent voters are turning away from President Obama and his fellow Democrats in droves. And if they can't find a way to get them back, the party could be in deep trouble for 2010 and beyond.

Independents gave Obama the White House last year with a vote for pragmatic competence. They have been repaid with partisanship and dithering. And unlike liberals who Obama has quickly re-energized after their summer doldrums, independents are devilishly hard to win back once they lose faith.

The latest Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll, the Rolls-Royce of public surveys, showed that for the first time, independents disapproved of the president's performance, 46 percent to 41 percent.

For the first few months of the Obama administration, independents, who make up about 43 percent of the electorate, reflected overall public opinion in giving the president consistent approval ratings of about 60 percent. But now, unaffiliated voters are less positive than the overall electorate, which is holding steady at 51 percent job approval for Obama.

More shocking is that independent voters now favor a Republican-controlled Congress by a four-point margin and would overwhelmingly like to see their own member of the House replaced.

Those are the kinds of numbers you see before electoral hurricanes like 1966 or 1994. And if independents are already at that point after so recently enduring the shoddy performance of the previous GOP majority, it's a sign of real dissatisfaction. Democrats have grown very jittery about the congressional elections in 2010.”

And then we’ve got my favorite GOP congressman, Bill Wilson again. Which I hit it right on the nail on the "you lie" comment to President Obama!

Well there’s more, Bill Wilson is becoming a goldmine for GOP fundraisings endeavors.

Actually, Bill Wilson is becoming famous. Why? Because President Obama and his left wing bunches in congress, like Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, they are all pushing for agendas that do more harm than good for this nation, and Bill Wilson is your lone ranger type, he’s seen as the man who’s taking on these leftist, anti-Economical agendas in their policies.

But let me duplicate it again, according to the Associated Press news report, GOP cashing in on Rep. Wilson’s outburst, Representative Wilson, is bringing in tons of money for some Republican candidates like, Republicans Tim Walberg and others, but not only that folks, the GOP is almost 2 to 1 ahead in donations than the DNC.

UPDATED September 25th 2009: A possible third scenario now in the works. This case is getting stranger by the minute, according to an unnamed source close to the investigation, suggests Bill Sparkman could have committed suicide, it's not definitive yet.

The spot where he was found, his feet were still touching the ground, and the word “Fed” was marked with a felt tip pen, which….any one, including himself could have done. There were no visible ground markings of other people in His immediate area. And NO one witnessed any thorough police investigations around where Bill's body was found at the cemetery. Naw, I don’t believe this? Do you? Was Bill out to make a mockery out of our political system with his death? I just don’t believe it...Don't be surprised by the coroner's ruling.

There are now two scenarios with census worker Bill Sparkman’s vicious murder at play here.

First, it might be very difficult for the FBI to ever solve this crime, because of the nature of folks who live in the area. But it’s imperative that the bureau does what ever it can, including not leaving a single rock unturned, and presumably checking the areas that Mr. Sparkman had gone on his assignments that day.

We’re going to have a big problem with this heinous crime, if it remains unsolved, it could become an argument for the left vs. the right about existing anti-government extremists.

And there will be some that will believe that Mr. Sparkman’s murder was anti-government related, and politically motivated against President Obama. And then there will be those, who will believe that the killing was because of Mr. Sparkman’s bad luck, because of his stumbling into someone’s illegal meth labs and hidden marijuana plantations somewhere along his census route.

It’s imperative that the FBI go door to door, with warrants and looks for these perpetrators, regardless as to what the reason is, an innocent U.S. Census worker doesn’t deserve this.

Some cowardly imbeciles just murdered an innocent part-time census worker, and actually, they hanged him and scrawled “fed” across his chest.

What did Bill Sparkman ever do to you?

If his killing was about someone’s anti-fed retributions, they did nothing more than bring scorn onto themselves, from me and the rest of the nation. I don’t see the killing of an innocent 51year old school teacher, an Eagle Scout and local director of the boy scouts, has anything to do with anyone’s beef against the feds.

Bill Sparkman had nothing to do with the way the country is being run amuck, Bill was just like any other American these days, he needed more work and he worked as a census worker to make ends meet.

This is an OUTRAGEOUS murder. The REAL imbeciles who have made a big mess of this country are in Washington DC, not in some backwoods county. Those people in Washington we get rid of them through VOTES, like in the 2010 midterms, if that don’t work, then we go through state rights, state secessions and civil wars you morons.

But my gut feeling, and knowing how ignorant some backwoods people are. Bill Sparkman being an educator, and possibly a liberal, I truly believe that the hanging of Bill Sparkman was retributions against Liberals, ACORN and the Obama administration, for wanting to have control of the Census Bureau within his administration.

Regardless of the reasons, this attack was on an American civilian, an innocent victim who had nothing to do with the feds and the U.S. government. People can believe what they want, but it’s not anybody’s right to harm someone else, just because they don’t agree with their politics.

By the same token, Democrats should also realize that screwing around with our First Amendment, “Freedom of Speech” over the healthcare Fiascos, doesn’t help one bit for their cause.

Just pure and simply said, what they did to Bill Sparkman was wrong. Those kinds of things should not be tolerated. I certainly hope that the perpetrators are caught and sentenced fully.

Eye Opener: Census Worker Found Hanged

A part-time Census Bureau field worker was found hanged in Kentucky Sept. 12 with the word "fed" scrawled across his chest, according to a law enforcement source. Bill Sparkman, 51, who was white, was found at the Daniel Boone National Forest in rural southeast Kentucky, the Associated Press first reported Wednesday night.

The FBI is assisting state and local police with their investigation, the law enforcement source told The Post's Spencer S. Hsu. The source was unsure of the cause of death.

It is a federal crime to attack a federal worker during or because of his federal job.

"It’s a tragedy. Our hearts and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of this worker," Office of Personnel Management Director John Berry said Thursday morning. He has spoken frequently about the denigration of federal employees.

"I’m going to be closely following this law enforcement action. If this is an attack on a federal employee, I can assure you that no resources will be spared to find the perpetrators," Berry said. "We cannot tolerate essentially domestic terrorism, if that is what this is. But until we understand the law enforcement investigation, we don’t know."

Threats are more common than actual attacks on federal employees, Berry said. He noted that people regularly threaten federal judges and their families, IRS agents and federal law enforcement officers.

"It’s also a reality for many categories of federal workers so we take any threat of violence seriously," he said.

Sparkman, an Eagle scout, moved to southeast Kentucky to be a local director for the Boy Scouts of America, his mother told the AP. He most recently served as a substitute teacher in Laurel County and earned extra money as a Census field worker.

The Census Bureau has suspended operations in Clay County, Ky. where the slaying occurred pending the investigation. Hundreds of thousands of temporary workers across the country walk door-to-door conducting various demographic surveys.


The Census will hire more than 1 million temporary workers to conduct follow-up interviews for next year's 2010 decennial Census.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of our co-worker, and our thoughts and prayers are with William Sparkman’s son, other family and friends. We are monitoring the developments closely," Commerce Secretary Gary Locke said in a statement Wednesday night. The Census Bureau is part of the Commerce Department.

“Mr. Sparkman was a shining example of the hard-working men and women employed by the Census Bureau. The work they do on a daily basis is not easy but is a great and important service to our nation.” There was no immediate comment from Census Director Robert M. Groves.

The apparent killing of a Census employee comes during an already busy period for the Census Bureau. Groves told a Congressional panel on Tuesday that he fears next year's headcount will be impaired by the recession and continuing concerns about immigration. The agency also recently cut ties to the controversial community organizing group ACORN, one of more than 10,000 civic organizations, churches and corporations recruited to help increase participation in next year's Census.

It’s time for MySpace.com to begin cleaning out their anti-socials, "da thugs and the gangstas," and other dangerous psychotics’ out of their site!

This slam piece and angry rants will be directed towards four groups, Domestic Violence, anti-death penalty proponents, the lack of parental Internet supervision and MySpace.com.

For those who don’t support the death penalty, I’ve got BIG news for you. If the most recent events where 10 innocent people were brutally murdered, by two demented individuals, during two separate incidents doesn’t change your mind on the death penalty, then I think you’re totally lost in a world of sheer ignorance.

The usual arguments that anti-death proponents always use, government has no authority to take one’s life, then I say, we’re the government and we’re the ones that empower our government to do it. Secondly, they say that the death penalty is no deterrent, and then I tell them, I don’t want it to be a deterrent; I want for low-lives to pay with their LIVES for the lives they stole away.

So, if the latest news doesn’t change your mind, and confirming the reasons as to why we’ve got the death penalty, I wouldn’t know what else to tell you.

There one thing that I can’t stand, and I will never stand for, is child abuse, and especially the callous murders of innocent children. If it ever happened to my child, I would go to the corners of the earth to get that SOB; I would probably be judge, jury and executioner.

I was physically beaten by my father as a child; it didn’t matter if my father’s belt buckle hit me on the side of the head, or where it would hit next. He was a wife beater too. My father was a short tempered and very violent man.

My father wasn’t your typical drunk, he just had a bad temper on him, it was tough growing up with Guy Andre Chamot, I certainly could never please him, neither could my REAL mother Tehila, but WE did somehow manage through it all.

When I was 16 years old, when he beat me for the last time, I shoved him to the floor and broke half of his furniture, on my way out of the house. And that was the very last time I have ever lived in that home and with him. There’s a lot more to this story, but this isn’t the place and venue to be talking about my father and me.

My point is, well heck, I never went out and committed crimes and then blaming it on my past upbringings. It’s amazing how many sorry criminals out there do. Quite the opposite happened to me, I became a REBEL. Yeah, I’ve had my occasional run-in with authorities before, for the usual drunken bar fights I used to get into. I’ve also been kicked out of a few schools, and universities, here and then, I was a hell raiser, a trouble maker and a man with a big mouth.

But I grew up, I became smarter, wiser and was determined to do something with my life, and writing about all the wrongs became the answer.

And now, I’m LIVID!

Ladies, how many more incidents like this will it take for you to LEAVE your abusive mates? How many more of you and your children will become casualties and victims from these cancerous, murderous menaces to society? How many more of you children are going to die by these abusers? When are you going to get the message?

And then we’ve got these idiotic parents, yes, ignorant parents, when will you begin to wise up, and to start supervising your teens when they are using the Internet? Eh? How many more of our teens are going to die because of these Internet psychos’ loose on the Net? When are YOU going to get the message?

There are two high profile murderers, and both had web pages on MySpace.com. This isn’t the first time that MySpace has been in the news, over their criminal and psychotics’ elements who like to use and surround themselves around that network.

In Naples Florida, a husband Mesac Damas slashed the throat of his wife, and his five kids! Court records: Slain wife begged repeatedly to give Mesac Damas second chance after beatings:
“When Guerline Dieu Damas sent a letter to a Collier County criminal judge this year, begging to give her husband a second chance, it wasn't the first time.

Four years ago, Dieu filed a motion to dismiss an injunction against Mesac Damas after she contended he'd beaten her.

"I would like to give him another chance," Dieu wrote on June 20, 2005, just two weeks after he unsuccessfully sought a restraining order against her.

Less than a month later, on July 14, 2005, Collier Circuit Judge Cynthia Ellis dismissed Dieu's case against Damas, who was then her boyfriend.

Now, just days after he took his first batterer's class, which was part of his court-ordered yearlong probation in a misdemeanor battery case, Dieu is dead, along with the couple's five children, "Zack", 9, Marven, 6, Maven, 5, Megan, 3, and Morgan, 11 months. Relatives say their throats were slit.”

There was a history of domestic violence there, why didn’t Guerline Damas his dead wife, leave this abusive relationship earlier. It took her to die and it also took the lives of her five precious little kids! This is an outrage, folks! Kids from 11 months to nine years, including a three and a five year old, they all had their throats slashed by this scum! This is why I support the death penalty folks!

Now, this scum has escaped this country, he went back to Haiti, and we’ve got a very weak extradition treaty with that country. I expect for the Obama administration and the state department to put a whole lot of pressure on Haiti to find this rat from wherever he might be hiding. And you women out there, you’ve got to get the hell out of these kinds of abusive relationships earlier, and before it’s too late for you and your kids.

And then we’ve got this 20 year old psychotic wannabe rapper scum. A teenaged girl, Emma Niederbrock fell in love with him and his website on MySpace. This scum, Richard Alden Samuel McCroskey, who went as “Syko Sam,” he rapped about the thrill of killing people right there on his website!

A REAL demented imbecile! On the Net again? Are we’re hearing about another tragic homicide with MySpace? The girls’ father, a pastor, was included as the victims of this guy’s murderous rampage. DIDN’T anybody bother to check out this psychos’ website on MySpace? Didn’t the pastor, the girl’s father ever bother to do it also? This is what I mean people; it’s still happening and no one’s learning.

Apparently this scumbag flew to Virginia, to meet with his new found fan and love, and apparently went to one of these psychos’ “horrorcore” concerts with this girl, and then when he got back to the girl’s home, he somehow went ballistic and began to systematically kill her and her family! Four people were MURDERED! Just because they FAILED to check out this scum on the Net, and they also FAILED to check out who their daughter was getting involved with over the Net, and it cost all of their lives.

Suspect in 4 Va. killings posted violent rap songs
"Richard Alden Samuel McCroskey III rapped about the thrill of murder in songs he posted on the Internet. Police believe the fantasy lyrics became a gruesome reality in a small Virginia college town.

McCroskey, 20, was being held Sunday in the killings of four people who were found at a Longwood University professor's home near campus in Farmville, which is about 50 miles west of Richmond. McCroskey, of Castro Valley, Calif., faces charges of first-degree murder, robbery and grand larceny of an automobile, said Farmville police Capt. Wade Stimpson.

The aspiring rapper in the underground horrorcore genre, which sets violent lyrics to hip-hop beats, was arrested Saturday at a Richmond airport, where authorities believe he was trying to catch a flight back to California. Officers found McCroskey asleep in the baggage claim area.
A day earlier, authorities discovered the bodies in the home of Debra S. Kelley, an associate professor of sociology and criminal justice studies, school spokeswoman Gina Caldwell. Authorities have not released the names of those killed or said how they died.

McCroskey recorded songs that spoke of death, murder and mutilation under the name Syko Sam. His MySpace Web page said he has only been rapping for a few months but has been a fan for years of the horrorcore genre.

"You're not the first, just to let you know. I've killed many people and I kill them real slow. It's the best feeling, watching their last breath. Stabbing and stabbing till there's nothing left," McCroskey sings in "My Dark Side."

My Lord! I know this country is becoming dangerous and more insane every day, but where has common sense gone to? Ten people, including numerous children are dead because of sheer STUPIDITY from people’s actions!

My Space needs to be accountable for all of these deaths, both of these killers had MySpace pages, and MySpace needs to begin and filter those psychos’ out of their networks. It’s just horrendous at this time and ages, when we still have these kinds of websites running loose all over the Net. This is tragic times indeed.

It will certainly allow groups across the political spectrum to raise and spend money without pause, potentially leading to a more acerbic campaign environment.”

Former presidential candidate Senator John McCain was a real ass. Back around 2002, he co-sponsored a bill regulating campaign financings into federal elections, known now as the infamous McCain-Russ Feingold campaign reform ACT.

When Republican Senator John McCain proposed this bill with his Democratic lackey Russ Feingold; John McCain knew too damn well that Republicans would suffer behind this horrendous bill, while Democrats would have the bigger advantage in unlimited political fundraisings over this bill.

The bill would practically eliminate big donor groups for Republicans, such as American corporations and wealthy individuals from contributing and financing political advertisements and propagandas.

It was a great idea at the time, but the problem? This bill did not include multi-million dollars contributions from American labor, and unions, tort lawyers, and Democratic Left-Wing organizations like MoveOn.org.

Since the bill became effective, Democrats and labor unions, tort lawyers, and MoveOn.org prospered politically. Well, they were able to let’s just say buy their politicians OUT far better than Republicans, while American corporations, and wealthy individuals, who were the usual Republican money groups, were being left out in the cold.

This was very UNFAIR restrictions of independent political groups to raise, spend their money and to influence elections into both parties equally. Equal rights into political fundraisings were being violated by this law.

While the 2004 Swift Boat Veterans for Truths were heavily fined for their millions spent during the 2004 George Bush re-election presidential campaigns, which was a big violation of the 2002 McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Reform ACT, but MoveOn.org didn’t even get a slap on their wrists for their GROSS violations during the 2008 presidential campaign for Obama.

During the 2008 presidential elections, the Democrats benefited far more than the Republicans, due to this traitorous and idiotic 2002 McCain-Feingold campaign finance bill.

The then presidential candidate Barack Obama broke fundraising records never seen before in any American presidential elections. meanwhile John McCain was struggling for money, while trying to abide by his own idiotic law that he co-authored.

I personally don’t like wealthy, corporations, unions, tort lawyers, and other groups financing any American campaign elections, they have way more influence over election results than Peoples’. I don’t like this one bit, its part of the American political corruptive culture that we can’t seem to clean up.

But, when John McCain and Russ Feingold authored this horrible and unfair bill, they should have included LABOR UNIONS, tort lawyers, and other Democratic money groups into the bill, but they didn’t. This bill was intentional money grab for the Democrats, which John McCain was privy to, and it cost him dearly, his fundraising efforts and the 2008 U.S. presidency.

Now a panel of three judges within the federal appeals court struck down the McCain-Feingold, thus re-opening opportunities for Republicans to get some of their financial groove back.

Believe me when I tell you this, this anti-Republican bill was passed when the Republicans were the majority in the house and Senate, and signed into law by another Republican, the then President George Bush. How much more ignorant and dumber can these bunches be? No wonder this country went down to hell in a hand basket with this group.

Until congress decides to come up with a fairer and more across the board bill to restrict all influential groups equally, then this is great news for KEEPING balance in government.

It will certainly allow groups across the political spectrum to raise and spend money without pause, potentially leading to a more acerbic campaign environment.

The groups "are now free to accept unlimited contributions, to spend unlimited funds independently supporting or opposing federal candidates," said Richard Hasen, a professor at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and an expert in election law. "One of the things we know about outside groups, as opposed to political parties, is that they run more negative ads. ... This could lead to a more negative campaign season."

The decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit came in a lawsuit brought by Emily's List, a nonprofit political organization that backs female Democratic candidates who support abortion rights.

The group challenged several Federal Election Commission regulations, arguing that the rules violated its First Amendment rights by limiting its ability to spend and raise money to influence elections.

"The First Amendment, as the Court has construed it, safeguards the right of citizens to band together and pool their resources ... to express their views about policy issues and candidates for public office," wrote Judge Brett Kavanaugh in his opinion.

A spokeswoman for the FEC, Judith Ingram, said officials were reviewing the opinion.
The challenge by Emily's List is just one of several assaults on campaign finance laws and regulations in the courts. Last week, in a case with high stakes for campaign finance advocates, the Supreme Court heard arguments in an appeal that seeks to strip decades of restrictions on corporate support of political candidates.

It’s been a little late and slow in coming, but it seems that we’re seeing an about face from the U.S. congress and this president in moving this nation forward.

President Obama started it with the China trade tariffs a few days ago, which is now beginning to escalate into a free for all trade war with China. And now, some bleeding hearts pundits are coming out with news stories that our trade tariffs are going to affect 100,000 Chinese workers, in the, China: Tire tariffs may cost 100,000 jobs “BEIJING, Sept. 14 (UPI) -- U.S. President Barack Obama's decision to slap tariffs on Chinese tire imports will hit that country's industry hard, the head of a Chinese trade group said.

"Obama's decision may affect the employment of 100,000 tire workers in China and may bring an aggregated loss of $1 billion to China's tire exporters," Fan Rende, chairman of China Rubber Industry Association, told the China Daily.

Obama said he made the decision to impose tariffs up to 35 percent based on the U.S. International Trade Commission's conclusion that a surge in Chinese-made tires had cost thousands of U.S. jobs.

In response to the White House decision, the Chinese Commerce Ministry has announced anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigations against U.S. automotive and chicken product imports.

The high duties may prevent Chinese companies from exporting tires to the United States, Fan said. China has 20 tire companies, including four U.S.-based companies that operate there, the report said.”

So what, and who really cares? HOW about the three to five MILLION American industrial jobs that were lost to China since 2001? And where were these deplorable and despicable pundits when these massive job losses were occurring to Americans?

Listed at the top of its "mission objectives" were combating violent extremism and countering the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.”

The U.S. Senate and congress have also been instrumental in reigning ACORN. America’s MOST corruptive community organizing association is being reigned in, and it may be the beginning of its end in American politics. Senate Votes to Cut Off ACORN Housing Funding

"The Senate voted Monday to block the Housing and Urban Development Department from giving grants to ACORN, a community organization under fire in several voter-registration fraud cases.

The 83-7 vote would deny housing and community grant funding to ACORN, which stands for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now.

The action came as the group is suffering from bad publicity after a duo of conservative activists posing as a prostitute and her pimp released hidden-camera videos in which ACORN employees in Baltimore gave advice on house-buying and how to account on tax forms for the woman's income. Two other videos, aired on the FOX News Channel, depict similar situations in ACORN offices in Brooklyn and Washington, D.C.

The Senate's move would mean that ACORN would not be able to win HUD grants for programs such as counseling low-income people on how to get mortgages and for fair housing education and outreach.

Sen. Mike Johanns, R-Neb., said that ACORN has received $53 million in taxpayer funds since 1994 and that the group was eligible for a wider set of funding in the pending legislation, which funds housing and transportation programs.

Just last week, the Census Bureau severed its ties with ACORN, saying it does not want the group's help in outreach efforts on the decennial count.

In recent months, Republicans have become increasingly critical of the census' ties with ACORN. The group, which advocates for poor people, conducted a massive voter registration effort last year and became a target of conservatives when some employees were accused of submitting false registration forms with names such as "Mickey Mouse."

Just last week, prosecutors in Miami-Dade County, Fla., arrested 11 people for falsifying hundreds of voter applications during a registration drive last year. ACORN tipped the authorities off to the problem.

On the hidden camera controversy, ACORN says it has fired the employees involved but lashed out at FOX News.

In a statement, Bertha Lewis, ACORN's chief organizer, claimed the tapes had been doctored and violated Maryland's wiretapping laws. She promised to sue FOX News.

Another ACORN spokesman, Scott Levenson, said the group believes the voices of the couple in the video shot in the Brooklyn office were dubbed over to alter the conversation and make the interaction appear more objectionable than it may have been.

ACORN sent a letter to FOX News President Roger Ailes, stating that the videotape was deceptive and had been dubbed over, and asking the network to stop showing the videos, Levensen said.

FOX News spokeswoman Dana Klinghoffer said the tapes were vetted editorially before they were aired.

The video was created by James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles and posted on BigGovernment.com, where O'Keefe identifies himself as an activist filmmaker.

Breitbart.com, which owns BigGovernment.com, did not immediately respond to a call and e-mails seeking comment.

On Monday, Lewis called the Senate's vote a "rare and politically convenient step" but noted that the group gets most of its funding from "its members and other supporters, so the decision will have little impact on overall operations."

The Senate measure is scheduled to pass this week and must be reconciled with a companion House measure that passed in July before becoming law."

So things are finally hitting on all cylinders with the U.S. congress, all it remains to see, if our politicians have the heart, the guts, fire and will to continue the fight, or will this be just another underachieved flicker for the 2010 midterm’s elections.

Senate Votes to Keep Housing Funds from ACORN

Coming off the news we covered last Friday that the Census Bureau was severing ties with the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now for the 2010 census, the Senate yesterday voted overwhelmingly to prohibit Housing and Urban Development grants from going to the group, which bills itself as “the nation's largest community organization of low and moderate income families."

Eighty-three senators voted for an amendment from Sen. Mike Johanns, R-Neb., to ban the funds, with seven senators voting against the amendment and nine not voting.Johanns noted that ACORN is under investigation for voter registration fraud in several states, and also mentioned recent videos from two young conservative journalists posing as a pimp and a prostitute and secretly videotaping ACORN employees who seeming offer to help them secure housing as well as other advice. The tapes were first posted on Biggovernment.com and received much coverage on Fox News Channel.

After tapes from the Baltimore and Washington, DC, ACORN offices became the "tipping point" for the Census Bureau last week, yesterday a new undercover film emerged from an ACORN office in New York City. Prompted by the videos and recent arrest warrants issued in Florida for ACORN employees who allegedly falsified voter applications, today Sen. Richard Shelby, R-Ala., the ranking Republican on the Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, wrote to the committee chairman, Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., and the Department of Housing and Urban Development inspector general Kenneth Donohue calling for "an immediate and thorough investigation" into ACORN's activities.

"Last night’s vote served as a resounding rebuke on behalf of American taxpayers regarding the activities of ACORN,” said Shelby in a statement. "While this vote is important, it is limited in scope and we must know more. It is imperative that we proceed immediately to investigate what appears to be ACORN’s stunning disregard for the law and abuse of taxpayer funds. Such an investigation would serve as the basis for determining not only whether ACORN is worthy of receiving other federal funds this year, but ever again.”

Shelby said the recent controversies "add to numerous other reported issues within the organization over many years including: embezzlement of nearly one million dollars by the brother of the organization’s founder; charges of additional voter registration fraud in other states; and the stripping of federal grants following findings that ACORN used federal money to promote legislation."

In a statement on Saturday, ACORN's chief organizer Bertha Lewis said the "relentless attacks on ACORN's members, its staff and the policies and positions we promote are unprecedented."

Lewis said Fox was "attempt(ing) to destroy the largest community organization of Black, Latino, poor and working families in the country. It is not coincidence that the most recent attacks have been launched just when health care reform is gaining traction.

It is clear they've had these tapes for months. We are their Willy Horton for 2009. We are the boogeyman for the right-wing and its echo chambers. If ACORN did not exist, the right-wing would have needed to create us in order to achieve their agenda, their missions, their ideal, retrograde America."In March, the Senate voted 53-43 against an amendment from Sen. A Victory for Law and Order!

A precedent setting case is now developing in San Francisco. A federal judge ruled that sanctuary cities like San Francisco, and those that wantonly protect criminal illegal aliens from deportations and the Fed, can be liable for the damages they do, and folks can sue cities over their negligence in their policies.

After a San Francisco criminal illegal alien and former MS-13 gang member Edwin Ramos, gunned down and killed an innocent father and his two sons over mistaken identity last year. It was then discovered that San Francisco had shielded Ramos from the feds and from deportations over his criminal activities, even though this criminal illegal alien had MS-13 gang affiliations with extensive police records.

The remaining survivors of the Bolgna family, whose husband Tony Bolgna, and his two sons, Michael and Matthew were viscously gunned down on a city street with an AK-47.

Federal Judge Susan Illston ruled that the negligence part of the case belongs in state court and with the Superior Court, because it’s based on state laws and challenges San Francisco sanctuary policies.

Matthew Davis the attorney for the victims, and survivors, says that California law makes it easier to hold government officials accountable for harboring criminal illegal aliens, and those who are preventing city officials from turning criminal illegal aliens over to federal authorities.

By golly, President Obama finally did it! I have been pretty tough on President Obama in my blogs lately.

But like I said before, I am a proud Independent, and I don’t follow any partisan party lines, but I am willing to give our president CREDIT when credit is due and when it's well deserved. And now it’s the time to give President Obama his big credit.

President Obama has finally got the cohunes to take on China. This is one of the biggest reasons as to why many Americans voted for Obama. It’s something that “globalists and the unrepentant world trader” John McCain would have never delivered. This is where I don't see eye to eye with most conservatives and Republicans.

China’s world dominance on industries, were due to our own industries, who have been escaping to China for their far cheaper/slave labors, and with no tariffs’ being charged for bringing these products back into the United States. Fact is: the “Globalization” ploy was a Republican strategy, abused by former President George Bush and supported by many Pro-Chinese Democrats like Hillary Clinton.

It was also an all around big PROFIT scam for American industries and Wall Street, while our workers were being left without jobs, and which was also slowly “killing” our economy with the ranks of unemployed.

For the past two years, I’ve been pushing on my blogs for these tariffs to be increased, it will push China to conform, and it’s a great revenue base for this nation, it will also encourage more American industries who had escaped abroad, to come back and re-hire Americans.

“Since former President Bush allowed China into the WTO around 2001, over 5 million American industrial jobs were STOLEN by China.”

I just hope that President Obama goes even further, and hit every industry that’s importing from China to help offset the massive trade imbalances that we have with that country.

With this alone, President Obama could dramatically improve his popularity and approval numbers and American JOBS.

If Obama takes on the very unpopular NAFTA, he’ll do much better in the polls, I can’t guarantee it will be enough for his “public healthcare and amnesty for illegal aliens,” but he could be re-assured for a second term.

Folks, this is the only way that we can get the millions of Americans re-employed, there’s just no other way. Let’s face it; going Green isn’t going to do it for us.

Obama to hit China with tough tariff on tires

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- The Obama administration will impose stiff tariffs on imports of Chinese-made tires after finding that a surge of imports has disrupted the U.S. domestic market.

President Barack Obama signed an order on Friday to impose the special punitive tariffs for three years, the White House announced.

The action is the first major trade enforcement action of his presidency and comes less than two weeks before a high-profile summit of the leaders of the Group of 20 nations, including China.

It is the first time the U.S. government has imposed special "safeguard" provisions to protect a U.S. industry from Chinese competition.

"The president decided to remedy the clear disruption to the U.S. tire industry based on the facts and the law in this case," White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said in a statement.

In the first year, the tariff will be 35%, falling to 30% in the second year and 25% in the third year. The tariff would be on top of the current 4% tariff. The tariffs will take effect in 15 days.

U.S. imports of Chinese tires have risen from 14.6 million in 2004 to 46 million last year, accounting for about one-sixth of the U.S. market. Four U.S. tire plants have closed in the past two years, and more than 5,000 workers have lost their jobs.

The United Steelworkers union had complained to the U.S. International Trade Commission about the disruption. The ITC had recommended a 55% tariff.

The Chinese government and some U.S. industry groups had objected to the tariffs.
"This administration is doing what is necessary to enforce trade agreements on behalf of American workers and manufacturers," said U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk. "Enforcing trade laws is key to maintaining an open and free trading system."

Kirk said China had agreed that its trading partners could impose such sanctions when it entered the World Trade Organization.

Police: Shooting suspect offended by anti-abortion material
CNN) -- Authorities have charged an Owosso, Michigan, man with two counts of first-degree premeditated murder in the Friday shooting deaths of an anti-abortion activist and another man, a prosecutor's office said.

Authorities say the suspect, Harlan James Drake, was offended by anti-abortion material that the activist had displayed across from the school all week.

Drake, 33, is accused of shooting anti-abortion activist Jim Pouillon, 63, and Michael Fuoss, 61, who were killed in separate locations Friday morning, the prosecutor's office in Shiawassee County said.

Authorities also have charged Drake with a felony firearm count and carrying a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent, the prosecutor's office said.

Drake also is suspected of "attempting to locate a third victim without success," the office said.
He was arraigned Friday and is being held without bail, the office said. It was not immediately known whether he had an attorney.

Pouillon, whose anti-abortion activity was well-known in the area, was protesting across the street from Owosso High School about 7:20 a.m. Friday when he was killed by several shots fired from a passing vehicle, Owosso Police Chief Michael Compeau said. Watch Compeau talk about the incident »

Several people witnessed the shooting, and one was able to provide a license number, he said.

About an hour later, Owosso police officers found the suspect, Compeau said.
"At the time of his arrest, the suspect made statements that he was involved in another homicide in Shiawassee County the same day," he said.

Sheriff George Braidwood said a call had come to a 911 dispatch center about 8:17 a.m. saying that an employee at Fuoss Gravel, outside Owosso, had discovered the owner, Michael Fuoss, dead. He had been shot several times, Braidwood said.

Authorities believe that Fuoss and the suspect knew each other, Braidwood said.
According to Sara Edwards of the county prosecutor's office, authorities do not believe that Drake knew Pouillon.

Operation Save America, the anti-abortion group of which Pouillon was a member, said in a written statement that he was "well known for his love of Christ and unborn children."

The Owosso school district went into immediate lockdown after the shooting outside of the high school and remained so until the suspect was in custody, Compeau said
The high school's administration offered parents the option of picking up their children, he said. All after-school activities were canceled, he added.

Owosso, a town of about 15,000 people, is about 25 miles west of Flint, Michigan

“If I’m a betting man, even though things don’t look too spiffy for Joe Wilson at this moment, but he will come out way ahead in the near future. He will spark up the right leaning moderates to take on Obama’s left leaning ideologies.”

Okay, a very heated Republican congressman yelled out “you lie’ to the president of the United States, when Obama swore that no illegal immigrants would get healthcare.

I agree it was kind of disrespectful. But it’s not like President Obama hasn’t shot off the cuff remarks before, right?

But here is the problem that I have with Obama’s argument, even though hordes of pundits are saying it’s true, that undocumented aliens would not receive healthcare, the Democrats have REMOVED provisions from the healthcare bill to help MONITOR and check the legality of statuses of people using the proposed healthcare systems.

Actually, they even went further, to PROHIBIT the questioning resident statuses of people using the healthcare systems, and the requiring PROOF of Social Security numbers, if folks don’t have them.

This is another BIG problem that I saw with Obama’s speech last night.

He wants to CREATE a fining system for folks who don’t buy into this public healthcare system, until they end up using it. So most Americans like you and me, we all have medical records, social security numbers, so the government will be on us with levied fines if we do not pay into the system, when we end up using it in time of need.

But an illegal alien, who don’t have social security numbers and medical records to track back to, they WILL NOT BE FINED, but they will get to use the healthcare system FOR FREE.

Republicans wanted to put this provision in the healthcare, but Nancy Pelosi and her cohorts voted against it, and had it removed.

Well, here it is; "Mr. President, that idea must have been tucked under a stack of background briefing papers over there in the corner of the table because the Congressional Research Service (CRS) says this about H.R. 3200, the Obamacare bill approved just before the recess by the House Energy and Commerce Committee chaired by Rep. Henry Waxman, D-CA:

“Under H.R. 3200, a ‘Health Insurance Exchange’ would begin operation in 2013 and would offer private plans alongside a public option...H.R. 3200 does not contain any restrictions on noncitzens-whether legally or illegally present, or in the United States temporarily or permanently-participating in the Exchange.”

CRS also notes that the bill has no provision for requiring those seeking coverage or services to provided proof of citizenship. So, absent some major amendments to the legislation and a credible, concrete enforcement effort in action, looks like the myth on this issue is the one being spread by Obama, Reid, Pelosi, et. al. "

So is Joe Wilson right or wrong about Obama? If Democrats refuse to place these provisions and safeguards in the bill, it’s because for an obvious reason, they DO want undocumented to use the healthcare systems. They just think we're FOOLs don't they?

Secondly, I don’t think any American in their right mind would want the government to have total control of ones’ medical records, right? That’s what public healthcare is, these records may someday become public RECORDS.

So who is the real liar here?

It was the heckle heard 'round the world — or at least all over cable news. As President Barack Obama addressed a Joint Session of Congress on health care reform Sept. 9, Rep. Joe Wilson broke the chamber's strict etiquette by yelling out "You lie!" after the President (accurately) noted that his proposed health care benefits would not extend to illegal immigrants. With those two words, the South Carolina Republican transformed into a national political figure (if only briefly), loathed by Democrats and rebuked by fellow Republicans for defying tradition.

At the GOP leadership's behest, Wilson called the White House that night to apologize. Heavy volume knocked out Wilson's web site and phone lines the next day and his Democratic opponent, Rob Miller, reported $400,000 in new contributions in less than 24 hours (one hastily created web site blasting the Congressman — with the web address "Joe Wilson is Your Preexisting Condition" — included a link to donate to Miller). But to the reform plan's most combative opponents, Wilson emerged as something of a hero. His Facebook page registered 1,200 comments, many of them strongly supporting his outburst and criticizing him only for backing down. A Facebook user named Bugs wrote, "We need to find an antidote to the Obama Kool-aid. You go, Joe!"

"San Francisco, the West’s wackiest city has one of the wackiest mayors around, named Gavin Newsom."

A recent S. F. Weekly article portrayed this troubled mayor as having lost most of his former backers and supporters. Basically, they are all saying he’s pretty much “dead meat” for the governorship of California. They are saying that he is so full into himself, an arrogant SOB, known womanizer, and he’s one lying and backstabbing politician.

The S.F. Weekly paints this man to be very bad news for California if he ever gets elected as governor in their, “Candidate Newsom is “narcissistic,” “thin-skinned,” “disloyal,” and “friendless.” And that’s from his former supporters.”

And not only this, but Newsom’s support and his poll numbers are deteriorating very badly, throughout the state and even in his own city.

“Around 6 o'clock on August 5, people began trickling through the heavy wooden doors of the Bambuddha Lounge for "Gavin's Summer Soirée," a hometown fundraiser thrown by "friends of Gavin."

Attendees mostly fell into two categories — young, attractive women, and people working the fundraiser. Absent were any heavy-hitting Democrats who helped Newsom reportedly pull together $4 million in a few months during his first run for mayor.

There was, however, a VIP room, reserved for those who donated $1,000 or more. (That meant there were likely no more than four people in it; on the day of the event, only $4,180 had come in from just 69 donors.)

The low attendance echoed David Binder's recent poll, which revealed that San Francisco voters actually prefer Jerry Brown to Newsom by 51 to 34 percent. Statewide, according to a poll conducted by J. Moore Methods, Brown was leading Newsom by 49 to 20 percent.

Those numbers aren't helping with potential donors. So far, Newsom has raised $1.7 million compared to Brown's $7.3 million, which is sure to jump considerably when Brown formally enters the race.”

What’s more intriguing about all of this, is what the San Francisco Chronicle said during the Obama White House and the Van Jones scandals.

While the heat was on this racist Van Jones, then San Francisco’s Mayor Gavin Newsom came out to defend this racist, communist, and Left-Wing anti-American. "Van Jones and Mayor Newsom are good friends and the mayor stands by him,” came from the mayor’s OFFICE folks!

We knew that Mayor Newsom was a left-wing wacko, but we never realized that he was that far out. And now he wants to be governor of California and with radical friends like Van Jones. How many more radical left leaning friends does this mayor have that we don’t know about?

The Facts are these:

It’s well known that the Obama presidential campaign was well connected in San Francisco, through the San Francisco Democratic machines of, Mayor Gavin Newsom and District Attorney Kamala Harris.

It's was also obvious that Gavin Newsom, and DA Kamala Harris were the inspiring forces behind the push for the Obama administration to make this racist, and their FRIEND Van Jones, the “Green Czar.”

The saddest fallout from the Newsom affairs: “Solomon, the former receptionist working on the tell-all, was close to Rippey-Tourk and said she has struggled immensely. “She lost her husband, her job and her identity," she said. "She's working on getting that back, and she's a beautiful woman, inside and out. She did get the shaft really bad."

While this poor fine lady got her life ruined, is this total JERK running for freakin’ governor? Can you believe this? Yeah, we can, what a man! Give me a break!

The Wrong Stuff

Candidate Newsom is “narcissistic,” “thin-skinned,” “disloyal,” and “friendless.” And that’s from his former supporters.

After all, he's at the beginning of an underdog's attempt to become governor of California, lagging behind Attorney General Jerry Brown — who hasn't even formally announced his candidacy — both in the polls and in fundraising. Longtime political strategist and policy guru Eric Jaye has recently quit, as have Newsom's chief fundraiser, Paige Barry Arata, and two longtime City Hall staffers.

When it's his turn to speak, Newsom puts on his distinctive lupine charm and commences bold gesturing. But at the end of the event, when reporters gather at the purple velvet ropes with their cameras and recorders pointed at Newsom like so many loaded guns, he grips a nearby pole.

They ask about the staff turnover and about Newsom's "sinking ship," but most of the questions involve his break-up with his longtime strategist, whom the San Francisco Chronicle has referred to as "Newsom's brain."

The mayor seems to resent the implication of the reporters' questions. Wasn't Eric Jaye the real brains of your operation? Aren't you just a pretty face? To an extent, that irritation is understandable. For years, his rivals and critics — some of them members of the local press — have refused to give the mayor, a gifted and charismatic politician, credit for anything.

But for Newsom to downplay the exit of his Svengali as "one less person" in the campaign would be like George W. Bush saying that Karl Rove played a minor part in his political success. It was Jaye who came up with the name for Care Not Cash, the tough-love homeless program that helped elect Newsom.

Jaye is not the first disenchanted strategist to part ways with the slick-haired sovereign. In fact, as Newsom embarks on the greatest journey of his political career — and potentially the first major disappointment — his circle of supporting San Francisco strategists has shrunk considerably.

Outside consultants with statewide campaign experience have come on board. But a disconcerting number of former local strategists and loyalists have said, on and off the record, that they don't believe he would make a good governor. Dismiss them if you will as bitter castoffs, but this much is clear: Newsom has created enemies among his former supporters.

Seek out the political operatives who once worked closely with Newsom, and you'll find that a number have soured on the mayor. Ask them why, and you'll be bombarded with his alleged character flaws. Among them: "thin-skinned," "disloyal," "friendless," "joyless," "Machiavellian," "craven," and "empty." One will tell you that Eric Jaye was "the best-paid babysitter in California." Several will diagnose Newsom with an acute case of narcissism.

"He's probably the worst mayor in modern history," said Jack Davis, a strategist who has worked on the mayoral campaigns of Newsom, Willie Brown, and Frank Jordan. "I pity this poor state if lightning should strike and this cad becomes governor amidst the problems that the state has. He'd have a nervous breakdown. There's no there there."

Although there are also fervent supporters, dozens of interviews with City Hall staffers, strategists, and fundraisers yielded a surprising amount of disapproval.

Well-known consultants Jim Ross and Bob Brigham — who both worked on Newsom's 2003 campaign — and 2007 campaign staffer David Latterman all have reservations. "I'm concerned that his record and his temperament will not be fully vetted by the press," Ross said.

Brigham was more direct. "I think Gavin would be a pretty awful governor," he said, though he's not too worried about it happening: "I don't see any path to the nomination anymore."

But in interviewing former staffers, supporters, and campaign strategists (many of whom requested anonymity), one can't help but think there may be aspects of Newsom's character that should be examined if he is to become governor.

These people criticize him on all kinds of things — not keeping his word, inflating his accomplishments, taking credit for the successful ideas of others, being detached, and caring more about becoming president than improving the city or the state. But in the background, a highly personal issue still looms large in their minds and in the campaign — the Rippey-Tourk affair.

San Francisco voters forgave the mayor for bedding appointments secretary Ruby Rippey-Tourk, who also happened to be married to Newsom's longtime strategist, Alex Tourk. In fact, Newsom was re-elected with an astounding 73 percent of the vote. But those closest to the situation have not been nearly so forgiving. They're friends with Tourk, and they have as many good things to say about him as they have negative things to say about Newsom.

"Alex Tourk is one of the most popular people in San Francisco," Brigham said.
The fact is, it's an open secret that the affair was far more than a few nothing incidents. It went on for months. While it may have been benign for Newsom, during the course of the affair Rippey-Tourk developed a severe drinking problem, which ended only after she checked into rehab.

Solomon, the former receptionist working on the tell-all, was close to Rippey-Tourk and said she has struggled immensely. "She lost her husband. Her job. Her identity," she said. "She's working on getting that back, and she's a beautiful woman, inside and out. She did get the shaft really bad."

But apparently that wasn't going to stop Newsom from trying to rewrite his sordid history at the expense of the Tourk family.
When it comes down to it, complaints against Newsom from his former staff seem to originate from the personal more often than the professional. They see him as fundamentally disloyal and unconcerned with the well-being of those around him.

Take the departure of Jaye, for instance. Newsom could have attempted to remain neutral in the press about it, but instead he acted as though the loss meant nothing to him. Newsom "owes the fact that we take him seriously to Eric Jaye," said John Shanley, a city attorney who worked for Newsom's 2003 mayoral campaign as the communications director. "He had talented people like Eric Jaye holding his shit together, and [Jaye] gets no gratitude for it. Newsom dealt with Jaye like a piece of toilet paper."

Other former staffers bring up the mayor's inability to manage and work with others. "I don't think he has the temperament to effectively govern the state of California, or lead," strategist Ross said. "You can just see it in his relationship with the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. ... To push the reform that the state needs, I think we need a leader who can work with the legislature effectively."
