Did someone say the Marc Chamot Report, other anti-legal and illegal immigration pundits in America are racists? Ah…, then what goes around comes around, the shoe is finally on the other foot now.

The TRUE consequences of Federal Immigrations RUN Amock; Chinese and Latino immigrant’s cultures clashing over a New York City church and neighborhood. Latinos say they feel steamrolled and under threat, while their tenants, the Chinese, say they feel stifled and unappreciated. Mediators have been sent in, to little effect. This holiday season, there are even two competing Christmas trees.

The standoff mirrors a tug of war that has played out for generations in New York, where immigrant groups — some established, some newly arrived — jostle on crowded sidewalks and in narrow tenements for space, housing and jobs.

This pastor is very rude to us,” said the Rev. Zhaodeng Peng, who heads the Chinese congregation with his wife.

The Rev. Hector Laporta, leader of the Latino church, responded, “He really has an anger problem.”
In recent years, Chinese businesses have crept down the hill toward Fourth Avenue, where the church sits. The Chinese population in the area grew to more than 31,000 by 2009, from roughly 24,000 in 2000, according to census data.

It’s overwhelming; they’re everywhere,” said Mr. Laporta, a native of Peru. “What’s happening in here is the same thing that’s happening out there. On a recent Sunday, the Chinese men designated as greeters outnumbered the entire Hispanic congregation.

It’s not our church anymore; that’s the way we feel,” said Oswaldo Nieves, 70, a Puerto Rican who has attended the Latino church for eight years. “They are eliminating us slowly, slowly.”

Brooklyn Immigrant Congregations Clash “The United Methodist church in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, is anything but united.

Two pastors preach from the same pulpit and live in the same parsonage next door, but they are barely on speaking terms and openly criticize each other’s approach to the faith.

In the church’s social hall, two camps eye each other suspiciously as one finishes its meal of rice and beans while the other prepares steaming pans of chicken lo Mein.

Two very different congregations share the soaring brick building on Fourth Avenue: a small cadre of about 30 Spanish-speaking people who have worshiped there for decades and a fledgling throng of more than 1,000 Chinese immigrants that expands week by week — the fastest-growing Methodist congregation in New York City.”

This is really amazing folks! That’s exactly HOW we all FEEL’S happening in our OWN country now, with floodgates of legal and illegal immigrants! So it isn’t JUST me and most Americans who feel this way, it’s also immigrants on immigrants, simply amazing!

And Highest-paid UC execs demand millions in benefits“three dozen of the University of California's highest-paid executives are threatening to sue unless UC agrees to spend tens of millions of dollars to dramatically increase retirement benefits for employees earning more than $245,000.

Their demand comes as UC is trying to eliminate a vast, $21.6 billion unfunded pension obligation by reducing benefits for future employees, raising the retirement age, requiring employees to pay more into UC's pension fund and boosting tuition.

"We believe it is the University's legal, moral and ethical obligation" to increase the benefits, the executives wrote the Board of Regents in a Dec. 9 letter and position paper obtained by The Chronicle.

"Failure to do so will likely result in a costly and unsuccessful legal confrontation," they wrote, using capital letters to emphasize that they were writing "URGENTLY."

Fighting this “Give Me” types of mentalities going to be tougher than previously thought. Going against nation’s Public Employee’s Unions and their costly pensions’ going to be tough court battles.

Unfortunately for us taxpayers, CORES of LIBERAL U.S. judges, who have infiltrated the federal court systems, could RULE in their favor.

This is the mentality that Democrats created in every facet of government work forces; we've got to eradicate my friends, if we’re to remain a SOLVENT nation!

Police Fatalities Up 37% in 2010: In this upcoming New Year and the next time you see a cop, thank him/her, and honor, respect him/her for the JOB he/she does, because 2010 the worst year for police officers.

While we're all lucky to be alive in the upcoming New Year, families will be missing their moms, dads, grandmas and grandpas, because 160 police officers died in the line of duty, up from 117 record lows in 2009.

Far too many of our finest are being killed while on duty. Police are just doing their jobs and they protect us/society from crazed and insane people.

Line-of-duty deaths among police officers go up “The shooting death of a Texas police officer late Tuesday adds to a grim toll: a law enforcement officer was killed every 53 hours in the United States this year, according to a new report.

According to the report by the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, line-of-duty deaths for police officers jumped by 37% in 2010, and in the past two days, CNN has reported the deaths of two police officers -- one in Texas and another one in Atlanta.

An officer was killed Monday during a traffic stop in Atlanta. Late Tuesday night, an Arlington police officer was among three people killed in a shooting at an apartment complex.

These incidents are part of an overall trend of increased violence against police officers and law enforcement professionals this year. According to preliminary data compiled by the memorial fund, a total of 160 federal, state and local law enforcement officers died in the line of duty during the past 12 months -- an alarming increase that follows two years of declining deaths among the nation's policing professionals.

While the sharpest increase has been in gun-related deaths, traffic-related incidents remained the number one cause of death among the nation's law enforcement officers for the 13th consecutive year. Seventy-three officers have been killed in traffic-related incidents this year, compared with 51 in 2009.

"Our law enforcement officers are being asked to do more today with less," said memorial fund Chairman Craig W. Floyd. "And it is putting their lives at risk."

During the past year, 18 officers were killed in Texas, the highest in any state. It was followed by California with 11; Illinois with 10; Florida with nine; and Georgia with seven.”

Be an active participant and supporter for fallen heroes, police officers and go to Officer Down Memorial Page.

"There are two major developments, she says, that are new this year and insufficiently noted, but they're going to shape election outcomes in 2010 and beyond. First, Washington is being revealed in a new way.

The American people now know, "with real sophistication," everything that happens in the capital. "I find a much more knowledgeable electorate, and it is a real-time response," Ms. Blackburn says. "We hear about it even as the vote is taking place."

Voters come to rallies carrying research—"things they pulled off the Internet, forwarded emails," copies of bills, roll-call votes. The Internet isn't just a tool for organization and fund-raising. It has given citizens access to information they never had before. "The more they know," Ms. Blackburn observes, "the less they like Washington."-Tennessee Representative Marsha Blackburn

Dr. Rossiter says the liberal agenda preys on weakness and feelings of inferiority in the population; by creating and reinforcing perceptions of victimization; satisfying infantile claims to entitlement, indulgence and compensation; augmenting primitive feelings of envy; rejecting the sovereignty of the individual, subordinating him to the will of the government. http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=56494
