A complete Democratic Party Meltdown, and again CNN, President Obama and company, are on the attacks against the conservative movement, GOP/Republicans and Fox News. 

Apparently they never learned from the last time they did it, and they are still repeating those same, sad, and tragic ploys of attacking, but not only their BASE, they are attacking Fox News and everybody else.

If somebody ever yelled at me this way and especially coming from an American president, I’d tell them to stick it up! Where the suns don’t shine!

Obviously, this is the wrong tactic to get people motivated, into getting things done for you. All this shows desperation on your part and to your party. The voters can sense these kinds of out of control jargons.

Instead of encouraging voters to vote for you, they will do the VERY opposite of what you want.

Obama scolds 'irresponsible' Dems

(CNN) – Joe Biden isn't the only member of the Obama White House frustrated with the Democratic base.

So is the big man himself.

In his lengthy Rolling Stone interview, President Obama took the opportunity to express deep frustration with the low enthusiasm among Democratic voters this election cycle amid charges he has fallen short on a string of campaign promises.

"It is inexcusable for any Democrat or progressive right now to stand on the sidelines in this midterm election," the president told the magazine.

Obama went on to describe his administration as the "most successful in a generation in moving progressive agendas forward," and said it was flat out "irresponsible" for Democrats to stay home on Election Day.

"The idea that we've got a lack of enthusiasm in the Democratic base that people are sitting on their hands complaining is just irresponsible," he said. "Everybody out there has to be thinking about what's at stake in this election."

Obama's direct admonishment was published a day after the vice presidentturned heads when he told Democrats at a New Hampshire fundraiser that the base of the party needs to "stop whining and get out there and look at the alternatives."

Obama's comments came as the president heads to four states this week in an effort to drum up excitement among voters who flocked to the polls for him in 2008 and remind them of his administration's accomplishments. To that end, Obama said he keeps a list of fulfilled campaign promises. The president claimed 70 percent of them have been met.

Democratic discontent has grown more palpable over the last several months as Obama has been forced to fend off charges that, among other things, he was too eager to compromise on health care, hasn't pushed hard enough for gay rights, and is advancing the same foreign policies as the hawkish Bush administration.

A recent CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll showed that only 30 percent of Democrats are enthusiastic about the looking midterm elections, as opposed to 53 percent of Republicans.

Biden tells Democrats to 'stop whining'

(CNN) – Vice President Joe Biden has a message for Democrats this November: "stop whining."

At a fundraiser Monday in New Hampshire for three Congressional candidates, Biden said he thinks Democrats will retain control of both houses of Congress in November, but only if they are able to highlight their differences with Republicans.

Democrats should "remind our base constituency to stop whining and get out there and look at the alternatives," Biden said, echoing the Democratic message this fall.

Voters have a right to be angry, he said, but the choice between parties is clear.

Part of that choice, he said, means voting against Republicans and the agenda of former President George W. Bush.

"Worst of all was the policies they had in place that decimated the middle class. That's the real catastrophe," Biden said.

Adam Green, the co-founder of the Progressive Change Committee hit back at Biden's comments Monday.

"[We are] picking up the ball that this White House dropped when they refused to fight for the overwhelming popular public option, refused to break up the big banks, and demobilized Obama voters who expected this President to at least fight for big change," Green said in a statement.

Obama: Fox News is 'destructive' to America

(CNN) - President Obama is pulling no punches when it comes to Fox News, declaring the cable news outlet to be "destructive to [America's] long-term growth."

In a more than 8,000-word interview with Rolling Stone Magazine, Obama compared the cable news channel to papers owned by William Randolph Hearst at the turn of the 20th century that unabashedly pushed the media titan's own political views.

"You had folks like Hearst who used their newspapers very intentionally to promote their viewpoints. I think Fox is part of that tradition – it is part of the tradition that has a very clear, undeniable point of view," Obama told the magazine.

Officials in the Obama White House have long made Fox News a punchingbag, launching a full blown offensive last year when aides declared the network to be "opinion journalism masquerading as news." Then-White House Communications Director Anita Dunn said the cable outlet "operates almost as either the research arm or the communications arm of the Republican Party," and top aide Valerie Jarret called Fox "clearly biased."

But the new comments from Obama constitute the president's most direct attack yet on the network owned by business mogul Rupert Murdoch.

Fox News pushes "a point of view that I disagree with. It's a point of view that I think is ultimately destructive for the long-term growth of a country that has a vibrant middle class and is competitive in the world," Obama said.

"But as an economic enterprise, it's been wildly successful. And I suspect that if you ask Mr. Murdoch what his number one concern is, it's that Fox is very successful."

Fox has yet to respond to the president. But during the administration offensive against the network last year, network spokesman Michael Clemente slammed the White House for continuing "to declare war on a news organization instead of focusing on the critical issues that Americans are concerned about."

Are Arizona SB1070 and Obamacare going to be the VOTER’s “remembers the Alamo?”  Then remember Arizona! Mr. President!

As I said before; President Obama was warned not to SUE Arizona over SB 1070, we’ve NEVER had a sitting U.S. president suing another state of the American union, Obama did and it may have done him in.

When this U.S. president went against the very fabrics of this nation, imposing left-wing ideologies, then going against majorities/popular interests on issues and when he vindictively go after an American states like Arizona and their sheriffs, for only wanting to enforce illegal immigration laws of out of control and wanton border crossings, that THIS president and his Party simply REFUSES to enforce; then he and his Party’s pretty much DOA, in the eyes of the American voters!

After all the fiascos’, it isn’t too surprising, with President Obama’s ineptness’s and his fitness for running the country, as “commander in chief,” is being questioned by the voters.

A little over five weeks before the midterms, President Obama and his Democratic cohort’s WORST nightmares are now being realized. Obama’s presidential numbers are VERY BAD. Obama’s poll numbers are so bad; they are dragging and drowning Democrats into quicksand of their abysses!

Before they; Obama and Democrats, decided to embark on these outrageous policies, they had better have gotten the economy and JOBS in far better shape, than just talking about it through FANCY speeches!     

Most Americans wouldn't re-elect Barack Obama in 2012, only 38% would vote Pres. in again: new poll “Most Americans don’t like the way Barack Obama is running the country, and if voters could have their say today, only 38% would reelect him.

That’s the word according to a new poll by Politico/George Washington University, which found the majority of Americans would consider replacing the President in the next election.

The poll surveyed 1,000 registered voters who identified themselves as "likely" to cast ballots in 2012.

Forty-four percent said they already plan to vote for someone besides Obama, while an additional 13% of voters will consider casting their vote for another candidate.

Obama, who won 53% of the country’s votes in the 2008 election, seems to have lost much of the momentum that buoyed him into the presidency two years ago.

A whopping 63% of those surveyed believe the country is on the wrong track, and 51% disapprove of the job Obama is doing in office.

The poll did offer one bright spot for the President.

Sixty-five percent said they still like Obama as a person, whether or not they are happy with his performance in the White House.

And if his 2012 opponent is former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Obama should be able to trounce the Tea Party darling.

In a hypothetical race between the two, 51% of those surveyed said they would choose Obama, while only 42% were likely to support Palin.

Obama would lose Presidential election to Republican - ANY Republican - if held today: poll “Two-plus years before the 2012 election, a Republican candidate — any Republican candidate — has a better chance of being President than current White House occupant Barack Obama does.

According to a new Quinnipiac University poll , Americans would rather vote for an unnamed Republican than Obama in 2012 by a 39% to 36% margin.

Obama's approval rating is now at an all-time low. According to the poll, 44% of Americans approved of the president, while 48% disapproved. Just two months ago, 48% of voters approved while 43% did not.

"It was a year ago, during the summer of 2009 that America's love affair with President Barack Obama began to wane," said Peter A. Brown., assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute.

And it is the confidence of those critical independent voters he is losing the most.

"Today, his support among Democrats remains strong, but the disillusionment among independent voters, who dropped from 52% to 37% approval to 52% to 38% disapproval in the last 12 months, is what leads to his weakness overall when voters start thinking about 2012."

It's possible that Obama could see a bump in his popularity by extending jobless benefits for 2.5 million Americans who have been unemployed for six weeks or more. The House is expected to vote on the legislation Thursday, after the Senate OK'd it Wednesday. He has said he will quickly sign the bill into law.

The poll is good news for all Republicans — but especially good news for potential 2012 Republican candidates like Ron Paul, Mitt Romney and Sarah Palin — all of whom are rumored to be considering a run.

Among the hot issues, 56% of voters said they disapproved his handling of the economy, 51% did not like his handling of the Gulf oil spill and 58% disliked his policy on illegal immigration — with 60% saying the federal government lawsuit against Arizona's new immigration law was a bad idea.

American voters said 48% to 40% that Obama does not deserve reelection in 2012.

From July 13-19, 2,181 voters were interviewed. The poll has an error margin of 2.1 percentage points.

Obama To GOP: Stop Outsourcing US Jobs "stop the outsourcing of jobs from America to other countries that do not pay taxes into the U.S. and stop the tax breaks that are given to these companies that are outsourcing."

“ A little too late” for any action, and please don’t be a hypocrite Mr. President!

Is it a desperation move by Obama? I’m afraid so; President Obama is absolutely right! But however, he had the POWER to do something about jobs outsourcing abroad, but CHOSE not to do anything about it!

He and his bands of Democrats embarked on shameful and meaningless policies, instead of going after the ROOT causes of American job losses. Until now, Obama is seeing that his power is going to be further diminished after the midterms GOP takeover and now wants to act.

Democrats have image problems on JOBS also. Democrats, like Obama, Pelosi and Reid, as with most Democrats within the state of California, they haven’t been helping themselves either on their negative JOB reputations.

They are outsourcing jobs to China too. They are outsourcing our well paid carbon industries out of this country, mainly the state of California is actively in high pursuit of those so called "green" jobs. While they’re busy putting strict carbon controls on industries and making it too costly to operate in the U.S., they are allowing these so called “polluting” jobs go to China without any regards to Americans, those who REALLY need these jobs.

These Democrats have a mentality that’s better to pollute China than the United States, regardless to losses of jobs and the economy for this country!

Democrats are killing jobs through their sold-out environmentalist groups, through strict carbon regulations and with Federal judges, like those who are willing to let inner California farmlands dry up, DESTROY agriculture, just to save fishes.

Democrats are equally or as guilty as Republicans when it comes to outsourcing jobs out of the country. When you put these two parties and forces together, they are BOTH doing outright damages to our job industries and economy of this country.

Price for failures to act and now, President Obama and Democrats are seeing the “light” and the BIG picture on jobs outsourcing. But unfortunately, it’s a “little too late” to take any action.

Democrats waited too damn long and didn't do anything, about the massive outsourcings of American jobs abroad! Even though majorities of polls everywhere were telling them to secure the borders and get tougher on outsourcing jobs abroad. They ignored the problems entirely, and they "angered" Americans all over, because of their defiances on these issues, they're going to pay dearly for it.

Obama and Democrats had two years to do something about it, and their POLL numbers wouldn’t be as dismal as it is now had they acted SOONER. They didn’t listen to the public, or read blog posts, and nor even cared about it, instead they listened to their money laden “special interests” groups.

And until now, they are panicking after seeing their futures in political office is going to be pretty nonexistent after November. President Obama never kept his campaign promises about reforming NAFTA to our advantage, and it has come home to roost for his party’s future.

However after scanning over “A Pledge to America,” just put out by the Republicans, everything on TAX reductions is more or less okay.

However, being conservative and a pro-America JOBS ONLY Independent, there are few troubling questions needs be asked about it.   

There are three things missing from Republican’s pledge to America, those missing things may be BIG enough, where jobs may not be created at all, even if Republicans do take power in the U.S. house as predicted.

I’m NOT hearing pledges and solutions towards stopping seepages of American jobs disappearing by both, illegal border crossers taking them away from us and by their lowering OUR wages. And worst of all, the rampant out sourcing of U.S. jobs to China and other countries.

Republicans are somewhat LAX about border security in the pledge, like it’s a lower priority, but for most Americans, it’s one of the highest priorities next to the failing economy and massive job losses. They are not talking about dealing with China either, while we ALL know China has become America’s economical albatross’.

Actually, ONE of these missing ingredients Democrats are now chalking up on the blackboard, “outsourcing” and want to get tougher on businesses and manufacturers who take American jobs overseas. But it’s TOO late for Democrats this time around. 

However late for Democrats, the new GOP, will not last long in power, if jobs are not created at a faster pace than from what Democrat’s have been doing. Until Republicans get these realizations in their minds, maybe they’ll have a LONGER shot at power, rather than being another “flash in the pan” politico. 

And thirdly: The big financial disaster that Republicans are failing to mention on their “Pledge to America,” are the outrageous public/government employees sectors, their atrocious salaries, medical and pensions costs to taxpayers. Of course! Politicians no matter what party they are they always take care of their OWN. 

Democrats will have the tools next time around, maybe to fix Republican’s failures in these aspects of jobs creations.

And here are the hard FACTS for GOP/Republicans lay back and digest, mainly those who do not see the clear picture about outsourcing American JOBS abroad.

OUR former Idol and President Ronald Reagan NEVER shipped jobs and industries out of the United States! It was all CREATIONS of former President Bill Clinton, with Republican’s 1994/1995 NAFTA and George Bush’s allowing China into the WTO around 2001. 

And another thing, we NEVER had a 2 to 1 trade imbalances with China under former President Ronald Reagan either. So munch on this little piece of fat for a while.

"To Harry Reid, illegal aliens always come FIRST, before nation’s gays and lesbians." 

It’s now a fact, all Democrats and some Republicans were ready to vote for the defense bill, and there were enough votes to give it over the sixty required to pass. But Harry Reid’s pandering to Latino groups by sticking the Amnesty/DREAM ACT on to the defense appropriations bill; KILLED it for the nation’s gays.

Just a little side note first; President Obama is begging for your votes, he wants us to give him and his party another chance after the midterms. But why, you would or I vote for him and his party, after the healthcare debacles and shenanigans’, and insistent in not listening to voters’ wishes and suing Arizona over SB1070 enforcements of rampant illegal immigrations and drug trades coming from Mexico? All this was the last straws we could take as a nation.

And in my humblest opinion, it wasn’t just healthcare that condemned Obama into his last stand at “Waterloo” with his Democratic cronies. It was suing Arizona that finished them off, especially with the way the economic situation has been going. Refusing to secure the borders and going after Arizona for their border enforcements, was Obama’s dumbest move and WATERLOO’s for the Democrats.

But if anybody really wants to know why gay and lesbians didn’t get their victory yesterday, it wasn’t the GOP/Republicans who killed “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” repeals for gays; it was because of Democratic Senator Harry Reid himself.


Don’t ask, don’t tell would have passed the senate. “Republican leaders agreed to end the filibuster if Democrats would agree not to offer any immigration-related amendments to the defense bill.”

The guilty culprit that tarnished it all for the gays and lesbians, and kept them away from sure legislative victory, was Democratic Senator Harry Reid himself, who’d stuck “poisoned pills” like the Amnesty/DREAM ACT on to the defense bill, where repeals of “don’t ask, don’t tell” was also included.

The bottom line: Harry Reid desperately wanted to grant “amnesty,” and legalize the nation’s illegal aliens’ high school and college graduates for VOTES. Through all that desperation, he ended screwing the nation’s gays and lesbians from acquiring their legislative victory they WANTED.

Harry Reid's BIG gamble FAILED! Somehow Harry Reid and maybe other Democrats will feel the backlashes from all this stupidity in the midterms.

To me, we’ve got FAR bigger fires to fight in this country than worrying about all this stuff; However, I do not support gays and lesbians marriages and let alone not serving in the U.S. military.

But I do support VOTER initiatives that give them the privilege of marriages and if the PEOPLE let them, but NOT when sold out, left-wing party hacks federal judges, overturn voters approved gay marriage bans, like the one in California.

Senate Republicans block vote on DREAM Act proposed by Harry Reid

Senate Republicans derailed a plan by Majority Leader Harry Reid to push through legislation Tuesday to allow children of illegal immigrants to become legal residents if they attend college or serve in the U.S. military.

Reid, D-Nev., had planned to offer the immigration legislation, known as the DREAM Act, as an amendment to a sweeping defense authorization bill. But he failed to get the 60 votes needed to end debate on the defense bill and bring it to a vote.

By refusing to end their filibuster, Republicans thwarted Reid's hopes of attaching the DREAM Act to the defense legislation. The motion to end debate failed 56-43.

Republican leaders agreed to end the filibuster if Democrats would agreed not to offer any immigration-related amendments to the defense bill.

Reid blasted Republicans after the vote, saying they "didn't even have the courage to let us bring this to the floor for a vote."

He vowed to continue to push for the bill, although it was not immediately clear whether he would try to attach it to another bill before Congress adjourns. He also could bring it up after the November election during a lame-duck session.

"We're going to vote on the DREAM Act; it's only a question of when," Reid said after the vote. "It's a question of fairness. This is not the end of this."

Critics say Reid's effort was little more than an election-year effort to appeal to Hispanic voters, who make up about a quarter of voters in Nevada. Polls show the U.S. Senate race in Nevada is a dead heat between Reid and Republican Sharron Angle.

"This is a blatant political ploy to try to galvanize his political base as far as the Hispanic community is concerned," Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said Tuesday on the Senate floor.

Opponents of the Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors Act say the legislation would giv e amnesty to illegal immigrants and encourage more people to break the law.

"Our message to U.S. senators up for re-election this year is do not underestimate the public backlash against DREAM Act amnesty, combined with Reid's underhanded tactic of attaching amnesty to defense spending," said William Gheen, president of the Americans for Legal Immigration Political Action Committee. "We just want U.S. senators to represent American citizens, instead of foreign nationals and illegal aliens."

Immigration advocates praised Reid for trying to get a vote on the bill. The defense bill is supported by Defense Secretary Robert Gates and other Pentagon officials as a way to help boost military recruitment.

"Senator Reid continues to be one of the Senate's greatest champions for immigrant youth in America, and he has shown great courage," said Ali Noorani, executive director of the National Immigration Forum.

The legislation, by Sens. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., and D ick Lugar, R-Ind., would clear the way to citizenship for immigrants younger than 36 who were brought to the United States illegally as children, lived here for five years or more, and serve in the U.S. military or complete at least two years of college.

About 2 million of the nearly 11 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S. could be eligible for legalization under the bill, although the Migration Policy Institute has estimated that only about 825,000 people would take advantage of the proposed law.

One of my biggest hero’s in San Francisco I’ll proudly say, and no, it wasn’t “slinky” Willie Lewis Brown, former mayor of San Francisco.  

It was the FBI, who was investigating rampant public corruptions under “Slick” Willie L. Brown as mayor of San Francisco, from 1996 to 2004. They were actively striving to land him in state and federal prisons for wide open nepotisms and contracting corruptions, going on with him and the city. 

He’s that same “slick” Willie L. Brown who shacked up with current San Francisco D.A. Kamala Harris, who’s currently running for California Attorney General’s office. Brown used his mayoral clouts to get his former lover, D.A. Kamala Harris jump started in law enforcement careers at the San Francisco DA’s office.

And then he was caught awarding city taxpayer funded contracts, to a known criminal and con artist he had defended as a lawyer. “The Federal Bureau of Investigation investigated Brown when he was Speaker. One investigation was a sting operation concerning a fake fish company attempting to bribe Brown; he was not charged with any criminal act.

The FBI further investigated Brown from 1998 to 2003 over his appointees at the Airport Commission for potential conflicts of interests. Brown friend, contributor, and former law client, Charlie Walker was given a share of city contracts. He had served jail time in 1984 for violating laws concerning minority contracting.

The FBI also investigated Brown’s approval of expansion of Sutro Tower and SFO. Scott Company, with one prominent Brown backer, was accused of using a phony minority front company to secure an airport construction project. Robert Nurisso was sentenced to house arrest.

During Brown’s administration, there were two convictions of city officials tied to Brown. Housing Authority administrator Patricia Williams, a mid level bureaucrat, was convicted for collecting bribe money.^[23]

The FBI investigated Brown’s friend Charlie Walker, who won several city contracts. Walker had previously thrown several parties for Brown and was among his biggest fund raisers.^[22] Brown reassigned Parking and Traffic chief Bill Maher to an airport job when his critics claimed Maher should have been fired.^[22] 

Brown put his former girlfriend, Wendy Linka, on the city payroll.^[2] Brown was known for his strong corruptive loyalties to his supporters.

Favoritism and patronage criticisms, FBI investigations

Allegations of political patronage followed Brown from the State Legislature through his tenure as San Francisco mayor. Former Los Angeles County GOP Assemblyman Paul Horcher, who voted in 1994 to keep Brown as Speaker, was reassigned to head San Francisco's solid waste management program. 

Brian Setencich also was appointed to a position by Brown.^[22] Both were hired as special assistants after losing their assembly seats because of their support of Brown.

Former San Francisco Supervisor Bill Maher was also hired as a special assistant after campaigning for Brown in his first mayoral race.^[52] 

Brown is also criticized for favoritism to Ms. Carpeneti, the lobbyist with whom he had a child. In 1998 Brown arranged for Carpeneti to obtain a rent-free office in the city-owned Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.

Between then and 2003, a period that spans the birth of their daughter, Carpeneti was paid an estimated 2.33 million by nonprofit groups and political committees controlled by then Mayor Brown and his friends.^[13][53]

Brown increased the city’s special assistant’s payroll from US$15.6 to US$45.6 million between 1995 and 2001.^[54] Between April 29, 2001 and May 3, 2001, San Francisco Chronicle reporters Lance Williams and Chuck Finnie released a 5 part story concerning Brown and his relations with city contractors, lobbyists, and city appointments and hires he had made during his tenure as Mayor.

The report concluded that there was an appearance of favoritism and conflicts of interest in the awarding of city contracts and development deals, a perception that large contracts had an undue influence on city hall, and patronage with the hiring of campaign workers, contributors, legislative colleagues, and friends to government positions.^[23]

Willie Brown was also connected to the EVER growing corruptive Chinese influences of the Fang family, Florence, Ted and James. Along with other corruptive Chinese groups, who have gone to JAIL for perpetrating San Francisco corruptions, such as Julie Lee and Ed Jew.

But unfortunately, with California Democratic machines of John Burton, along with former President Bill Clinton, and along with his cronies, Janet Reno’s Department of Justice, with Representative Nancy Pelosi and Senator Barbara Boxer, they all put UNDUE pressures on the FBI to stop the Willie L. Brown investigations! 

All of these were former Mayor Brown’s corruptive acts, under former President Bill Clinton and George Bush, whose justice department turned their heads away too.

However, this former and ever so slick Willie Lewis Brown, can be now found in the Sunday pages of the San Francisco Chronicle, in Willie’s World. Yes, this former “slickster” is their OP-ED writer and desperate times for mediums calls for desperate measures, I guess.

I read his columns, maybe hoping that someday he’ll confess, and FEZ-UP to the scams and shams he was up to as San Francisco mayor. Maybe some death bed confessions, like saying yeah! I did it! Like an O.J. book of some kind, but nothing of that stuff.

What is interesting I read his slip-ups and this one caught my eye. “I bumped into the Reverend Al Sharpton having breakfast at the Loews Regency, one of the fanciest hotels in New York. Al was bubbling over with Representative Charlie Rangel’s primary victory and gearing up to hit the road for candidates this fall. A lot of people don’t know it, but the Reverend Al Sharpton is the Obama’s administration’s MAIN MAN in the “black” community.”

So what Slick Willie Brown’s saying that President Obama handpicked, a well known racial instigator and RACE divider, as the key go to guy in the black communities. Why didn't Obama pick actor/comedian Bill Cosby for that? Wrong message that's why. Great for American race relations folks!!

Source: Dispute growing over China’s trade tactics; U.S. trade representative Ron Kirk says, “The United States must be engaged with China, but it will be a constant battle.” Kirk filed two complaints Wednesday against China, with the WTO, World Trade Organization involving Visa Corp. Charging China with yet, another WTO violation in anti-competitive businesses practices, for their lack to commit and open up its credit card market for everyone.

Basically, Visa and MasterCard Inc. are being shut out of China and are being kept out of the country’s $723 billion dollars credit card market.

The Chinese are giving preferential processing business to China’s own, China UnionPay Data company, a Shanghai company, owned and operated by China’s major banks and with state owned enterprises that are operating in 90 countries.

Under Chinese regulations, all foreign credit cards, including Visa must be branded under UnionPay. Still with actions, through inactions our federal government, Washington has FAILED to act in a 2009 report to congress that U.S. trade representative charged that China has failed to remove “market access restrictions,” and providing equal treatment for American suppliers, when China promised they would comply by 2006.

What’s very troubling, China is creating more economical monopolistic markets for themselves, with electronic payment services for all Chinese customers and no other providers will be allowed to compete.

The United States had warned China that they would take appropriate actions, to ensure that U.S. providers of electronic payment processing and other services enjoy the full benefits, of the open market deals that China agreed to.

China’s becoming a big problem for the United States. There were other charges being made, China’s steel that’s being used on the new San Francisco-Oakland bay bridge, unjustifiably imposed 25% anti-dumping duties/TAX ES on $200 million dollars worth of U.S. steel products.

United Steel Workers Union called on the Obama administration to file another complaint over China’s ILLEGAL and PREDATORY practices of protecting its own future “green jobs” industries.

But U.S. congress is finally waking up and smelling the Chinese economical threats to this country. Not only China has been restricting U.S. trade, or creating trade barriers for our businesses, they are are manipulating their currencies as well and its killing our economy and jobs.

Congress is pressuring President Obama to get tougher on China trades. They are pressuring Obama to take tougher stances with China, over their unfair and anti-competitive trade practices, and monetary manipulations that are costing millions of jobs for Americans. Some politicians are now beginning to believe, these anti-competitive practices coming from China, has been going on long enough. China has built up a 2 to 1 trade gap over the United States.

Senators are getting angry, because the Obama administration FAILED to cite China as currency manipulators in their latest report. Instead the Obama White House took the same position as other presidents, urging China to move faster to allow its currency to raise value against the dollar.

U.S. manufacturers are accusing China that they are undervaluing their currency by 40%, which has given China bigger advantages in spectacular growths, while ours declining, and thereby, making OUR products too expensive in China and theirs CHEAPER in the United States.

So what was that I hear? Marc Chamot’s anti-immigrant? While we’re on to China, well while we’re on about Chinese. There’s a labor scandal being uncovered in San Francisco.

Chinese owned Chinatown restaurants are ripping off their unsuspecting workers. Actually they are illegally violating state, federal and local minimum wage laws. They are running “sweatshops” and we’re not talking about one or two, we’re talking about the whole bunches of them.

Survey finds 'wage theft' at Chinatown eateries

Chinatown restaurants routinely pay workers less than the minimum wage, according to a study by local activists that brings the national trend of so-called wage theft home to San Francisco.

The 30-page report being released today by the Chinese Progressive Association culminates a two-year survey of about 400 workers - more than half of whom said they were being paid less than the San Francisco minimum wage, currently $9.79 per hour.

"We believe this is the largest study of its kind in the country," said Meredith Minkler, a UC Berkeley public health expert who helped train workers from Chinatown to survey their peers to penetrate the language barrier.

The reported prevalence of minimum-wage avoidance among Chinatown restaurants goes well beyond the 26 percent rate that was reported in similar, earlier surveys of low-wage workers in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York that helped establish the concept of wage theft - the nonpayment by employers of legally required pay or benefits.

State and federal officials who enforce labor laws say they have no idea how often employers avoid the state minimum of $8 per hour, or the national standard of $7.25 per hour.

But George Friday, director of the wage and hour division of the federal Labor Department office in San Francisco, said certain industries - restaurants, home health care, agriculture, security, garment and janitorial - are more prone to violations, and workers from immigrant populations with limited English skills are particularly vulnerable.

"In California, there is an underground economy that surpasses that of most states," Friday said.

Krisann Chasarik, with the California labor commissioner's office, said the state inspected more than 9,000 businesses last year for all manner of violations, the most common being lack of workers' compensation benefits. Minimum-wage violations were just 113 of those actions.

"We need evidence," she said, adding that many employees in wage theft situations "are unwilling or afraid" to talk.

One innovation in the Chinatown survey is that the interviews were conducted by restaurant workers trained by experts from UC Berkeley, UCSF and other cooperating entities including the San Francisco Department of Health and the city's Office of Labor Standards and Enforcement.

"White, middle-class outsiders could never have gotten this," said Berkeley's Minkler.

Two of the workers who conducted the interviews spoke through an interpreter about what they hope will come of their findings.

"The minimum wage is to protect the bottom rung of the working people," said Bing Zhu. "If you didn't, the bosses would just push the wages lower and lower."

Li Shuang Li, a former restaurant worker who is now a full-time mother, said, "We want the government to step up the enforcement of labor laws."

But that will be tough because workers are only willing to push so far.

For instance, when the survey found that one restaurant owner had failed to pay anything at all to 14 workers for periods ranging from three to 10 months, a delegation of employees and activists confronted the employer and demanded the back wages. They settled for the subminimum wage the employer had promised rather than the city-mandated minimum.

San Francisco's Chinese Chamber of Commerce could not be reached for comment, but Norman Fong, with the Chinatown

Community Development Center, said the findings will cause a stir.

"It's going to shake up quite a few things in the community," he said.

Not only these newly imported immigrants cheat their OWN poorly paid immigrant workers, they don’t pay their FAIR state Federal and local TAXES either! Oh yeah, that’s right, I've been telling you this all along!

Harry Reid: "Screw you America and America's unemployeds, I'll do what I frickin' want with illegals'!"

While most of us are out of jobs, with no opportunities for work, and with very scarce benefits and not available for all. Senator Harry Reid just don’t get it folks, we’re going back to this sneaky and underhanded bile’s of B.S.’, in trying to sneak amnesties for illegal’s on defense budgets.

You can’t tell me these people can’t go back to their countries and get a good job. Bull, most countries like Mexico and Peru require college degrees for good paying jobs. Those students who want the “Dream Act,” they can dream on, and get their jobs and careers back home, just as well and even better, than they can here with college educations.

Back around 1998 when I was in Peru; all good paying jobs required some forms of professional certificates and college/university degrees and these good paying jobs were plentiful all over Peru.

The FACTS: those third world countries like Mexico and Peru, they can’t find enough college graduates to fill their job openings! But oh no! They want to be here and take our jobs, and knowing full well that we, Americans cannot take their jobs back in their home countries.

After they get through with our practically “free” to low-cost university educational systems, compared to their costly university costs, they can darn well go back to their home countries where they came from, and where they are much MORE needed to find their jobs and careers over there and not here.

Any conservative Blue Dog Democrat and Republican, who VOTES for Harry Reid’s tricky and underhanded ways, in sticking “amnesty” on defense bills, should be the end of politicians' careers, those who vote for it and will be FIRED by the voters!

My word! We’re legalizing folks to take our scarce jobs away! We’re also REWARDING lawbreakers, and scofflaws! And that’s the way, we, us, the voters will perceive it. Harry Reid probably will be gone in under 50 days, but will YOU?

Sharron Angle: Harry Reid is "the Best Friend an Illegal Alien Ever Had"

On the heels of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's announcement that he wants to put up an immigration reform measure up for a vote next week, his Republican opponent Sharron Angle is out with a new ad calling Reid "the best friend an illegal alien ever had."

The harsh ad says Reid's policies are "putting Americans' safety and jobs at risk," highlighting the unique confluence of economic and immigration problems in Nevada. The state is struggling with the nation's highest unemployment rate, which stands at 14.3 percent, as well as the highest share of undocumented workers in the nation, according to the Pew Hispanic Center.

More than half of Nevadans think undocumented immigrants are taking jobs away from Nevada citizens, a recent Las Vegas Review-Journal poll showed.

Angle's ad blasts Reid for voting to give "special tax breaks to illegal aliens" and to give them Social Security benefits "even for the time they were here illegally." The Review-Journal reports that the ad is referencing Reid's votes on some amendments, offered in 2006 by Nevada GOP Sen. John Ensign, to prohibit undocumented immigrants applying for legal status from collecting tax refunds.

Angle has come out in support of Arizona's controversial immigration law, which makes it a state crime to be in the country illegally, as well as other conservative approaches to immigration. She nonetheless is courting Hispanics, who make up 26 percent of Nevada's population and accounted for 15 percent of the electorate in 2008.

Reid, meanwhile, has been touting his alliance with Nevada's Hispanic community. Yesterday he said he would insert the DREAM Act into a Defense authorization bill that is going up for a vote next week. The DREAM Act would provide a pathway to citizenship for undocumented young people who came to the United States as minors and attended college or joined the military.

With Reid and Angle nearly tied in the latest polls, both candidates have come out with hard-hitting ads. Reid this week released an ad blasting Angle of voting to bar Nevada police officers from enforcing restraining orders issued in other states. The ad features a Nevada patrol officer saying Angle's vote would have made Nevada a "safe haven for domestic abusers."

Senators Gripe About DREAM Act, Will Likely Still Vote for Defense Bill

Some Republican senators, along with centrist Democrats, aren’t happy with Harry Reid’s decision to slip the DREAM Act into a defense authorization bill up for a vote next week — and they are arguing it could kill the bill, although none have explicitly said they plan to vote against it.

“It’s made it needlessly controversial,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said yesterday. “I can’t tell you right now how easy it will be to go forward with that bill, but it’s certainly created an element of controversy that would not have been otherwise there.”

Will opposition to the DREAM Act, which would help some illegal immigrant students become legal residents, actually stop the bill? It’s unclear, but politicians are generally averse to voting down major defense legislation. Last year, Sen. Carl Levin (D-Mich.) successfully added language that expanded protections for hate crimes to the defense authorization bill. Republicans were angry, but approved it anyway.

Still, senators argued adding the DREAM Act is a misuse of the bill. “It’s totally unrelated to the defense authorization bill,” Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.) bristled yesterday.

“This is an all-time low for me being in the Senate and that’s saying something,” Lindsey Graham Cable yesterday. “The one area that has been kept off limits from partisan politics has been the defense of our nation. To say that you’re going to bring up a defense bill and put the Dream Act on it … to me is very offensive.”
