GOP/Republican War against the Poor, Food Hardships Striking 19.3% of Americans & Durbin the Turban Senate Hearings on Anti-Muslim Bigotries:
By Marc Chamot
Illinois (Obama’s home state) Democratic Senator Dick Durbin is making news again. Durbin thinks Americans are discriminating against Muslims too much.
He’s holding hearings on anti-Muslim bigotries. This Old Dick-brained Muslim apologist, wasn’t called Durbin the Turban for nothing. Dick Durbin is mostly remembered for the 2005 comparing American interrogators at Guantanamo Bay to Nazis.
All this comes at the heels after Representative Peter King, held hearings about Muslims and terrorism in America. An August study by Pew Research Center found 54% of Republicans, 27% Democrats and 40% of Independents, are unfavorable towards Islam and Muslims in general. You don’t say? And I wonder why?
However, the left-wing and VERY anti-Jewish Southern Poverty Law Center, this group who likes to track hate and racist activities going on in the United States, EXCEPT for their own racisms towards Jews in general.
Southern Poverty Law Center is that VERY same group who actively likes to endorse the well known pro-Palestine, and the anti-Semite/Jew former President Jimmy Carter. The Center says several new anti-Muslim hateful groups have sprung up over the past year. What do they know?
What this idiotic Senator from Illinois ought to do, is hold hearings about all the anti-Semite and anti-Jewish hate going on in America, which is nine times bigger, than hates on Muslims.
What Durbin the Turban forgets, the United States has been pretty much unscathed from radical Muslims and terrorists, because we have placed tougher controls on immigrations emanating from some of those terroristic Muslim nations.
Unlike Europe, who has had a history of open door policies with radical Muslim nations, Great Britain, Germany, France and Spain are all paying for their past mistakes. And WE don’t want to repeat theirs.
What bothers me the most? American corporations are holding on to $1.2 trillion in foreign earnings parked offshore and kept well away from American tax collectors.
You see folks? Most of the $1.2 trillion was made from OUTSOURCING our jobs, and from the selling of American made products fabricated abroad. That is what OUR U.S. economy has lost, the $1.2 trillion dollars, and this is what American workers have LOST, when all their jobs were outsourced abroad.
Corporations want the Obama administration to impose fewer than 30% taxation for them to be able to bring this money back here again. But unfortunately there is NO PROOF that the money is going to be used in job creations, it hasn’t before, so why now?
The bottom line folks, had we manufactured those products here, instead of over there, the money would be here, instead of over there! It’s just plain logic.
Republicans are definitely to blame for the disastrous exoduses of manufacturing jobs abroad, but now they aren’t thinking too clearly again. The United States is having a surge of hunger, and too many people, mainly children, are going to sleep at night without eating.
In 2008, 49 million Americans complained of not having adequate food supplies for them and their children. Food insecurities in 2009 kept pace with the 2008 reports. One third of Americans say they are broke and are forced to skip or cut down on portions.
Recent studies show that food hardship for Americans are still very high at 19.3% last October. This is proof that the economy isn’t getting any better for most Americans, it’s getting worse. So what do those Republican House Member numb-skulls want to do?
GOP/Republicans introduced a bill to cut funding for welfare and food stamps to 2007 levels. In addition to, House Republicans want work requirements for those who want food stamps.
“We need a smarter approach that promotes self-reliance and acknowledges the interconnected nature of all our anti-poverty programs,” says Representative Jim Jordan of Ohio, who sponsored the legislation along with Scott Garrett of New Jersey.
Excuse “Moi?” YOU! “Republicans,” chased our manufactories out of this country through NAFTA’S and WTO’s, by offering cheaper labor sources, other than Americans for your Wall Street buddies and bankers, while leaving 15 million plus unemployed Americans, and NOW you want to cut American safety nets, because of the damage YOU did to us, wasn’t ENOUGH?
Here’s the biggest joke of the day. The Republicans are declaring war on the poor, but they created America’s POOR under former President George Bush, with their pro-globalists agendas and outsourcing of industrial jobs abroad.
“Sponsors say the cut in funding is needed to control inefficiencies in some 77 welfare programs and STOP out-of-control government spending on welfare, which has increased 40% under President Obama.”
Republicans are trying to compare the successes 1996 welfare reforms with Bill Clinton, but at the time of Bill Clinton, we didn’t have 15 million, and millions more of underemployed and 49 million more Americans going to sleep hungry every night!
Wake up! There are billions in cuts and wastes to be made. Public pensions need to be addressed, and creations of JOBS, before going around taking away safety nets for needy Americans!
There are still five job seekers for every job, you know? It’s definitely going to be a hilarious way to win back 2012, going at this rate for those “Republicans.”
