With recent decisions to STOP deporting the so-called “Dreamers” and to issue them work permits, Obama is showing Americans he cares more about foreign nationals living and working illegally in the country, than he does for the millions of un/underemployed Americans.

By giving out work permits and increasing the workforce, it will make it that much more difficult for unemployed Americans to find work. What a shame. Obama should care more about his own unemployed citizens rather than PANDERING for the Latino VOTES!” She HIT it right on the NAIL folks!

In a court document, ICE said Onyango Obama had an earlier deportation or removal order.

His immigration status couldn't immediately be confirmed, but such orders are generally reserved for people living in the country illegally. A spokesman for ICE declined to comment on Onyango Obama's immigration case, and the White House had no comment.”

* Women, who had fueled a gender gap for the president with 68 percent approving of his performance after his first three months in office, are also moving away from him. Now, 50 percent of women say he should be re-elected, and less than half of all women approve of how he's doing in office.”

Here are the harsh realities of an Obama presidency, portion of men who work falling with wages. “Jobs fell with housing. When real estate ultimately crashed, so did the prospects for many men. The portion of men holding a job fell to 63.5 percent in July - hovering stubbornly near the low point of 63.3 percent it reached in December 2009. These are the lowest numbers in statistics going back to 1948.

Among the critical category of prime working-age men between 25 and 54, only 81.2 percent held jobs, a barely noticeable improvement from its low point last year - and still well below the depths of the 1982-83 recession, when employment among prime-age men never dropped below 85 percent. To put those numbers in perspective, consider that in 1969, 95 percent of men in their prime working years had a job.

Men's wages dropping

Men who do have jobs are getting paid less. After accounting for inflation, median wages for men between 30 and 50 dropped 27 percent - to $33,000 a year - from 1969 to 2009, according to an analysis by Michael Greenstone, a Massachusetts Institute of Technology economics professor who was chief economist for Obama's Council of Economic Advisers.

"That takes men and puts them back at their earnings capacity of the 1950s," Greenstone says. "That has staggering implications."

What is going on here? For one thing, women, who have made up a majority of college students for three decades and now account for 57 percent, are adapting better to a data-driven economy that values education and collaborative skills more than muscle.

That isn't to say women have yet eclipsed men in the workplace. They continue to earn about 16 percent less than men and struggle against gender discrimination and career interruptions as they disproportionately take time away from the job to raise children.

And both men and women have confronted job losses in the weak economy. In July, 68.9 percent of women aged 25-54 had jobs, vs. 72.8 percent in January 2008. (In 1969, however, fewer than half did.) After a long decline in men's work opportunities, the recession worsened things with a sharp drop in male employment. Unemployed men are now more likely than women to be among the long-term jobless.

The economic downturn exacerbated forces that have long been undermining men in the workplace, says Lawrence Katz, a Harvard professor of labor economics. Corporations have cut costs by moving manufacturing jobs, routine computer programming, and even simple legal work out of the country. 

The production jobs that remain are increasingly mechanized and demand higher skills. Technology and efforts to reduce the number of layers within corporations are leaving fewer middle-management jobs.

The impact has been greatest on moderately skilled men, especially those without a college education, though even men with bachelor's degrees from less selective schools are beginning to see their position erode.

"There's really been this polarization in the middle," Katz says, as men at the top of the education and income scale see their earnings rose while those in the middle gravitate downward.

For generations, American workers kept up with technological change by achieving higher levels of education than their parents. High school education became the norm as the country progressed from an agrarian society to an industrial one.”

Mexico’s President Felipe Calderon took aim to berate the United States over recent Mexican Casino terrorists attacks that left 52 dead, mostly women. It’s TRAGIC, but we’re NOT to blame. The REAL blame goes to Mr. Calderon for NOT allowing us to secure the border.

As Mexico's Calderon berates U.S. after casino attack “Lashing out at corrupt officials in Mexico and "insatiable" U.S. demand for drugs for fomenting the violence, Calderon urged Congress to stamp out drug consumption and stop illegal trafficking of weapons across the border into Mexico.

"We're neighbors, we're allies, we're friends, but you are also responsible," a somber and angry Calderon said to the United States in a speech after meeting his security advisers.

Pledging to step up the fight on organized crime, Calderon said Mexico was under attack from "true terrorists", and told all Mexicans to come forward and denounce those responsible.

"They aren't and cannot be the ones in charge of our streets, our cities and our future," he said, shortly before departing to Monterrey to take stock of the situation.

President Barack Obama called the attack "barbaric" and said his government stood shoulder to shoulder with Mexico in the battle against the gangs.

"We share with Mexico responsibility for meeting this challenge and we are committed to continuing our unprecedented cooperation in confronting these criminal organizations," Obama said in a statement issued by the White House.

Washington provides money and resources to Mexico in the drugs war, but joint cooperation has been damaged by mistrust, a botched U.S. plan to track down weapons smugglers and the killing by suspected hit men of a U.S. customs agent in Mexico this year.”

However Mr. Calderon pro-open border policies is sticking on him like Super Glue or a cheap perfume, Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer told CNSNews.com that she believes neither President Barack Obama of the United States nor President Felipe Calderon of Mexico wants to secure the U.S.-Mexico border because they hope illegal aliens will increase liberal voters in the United States.

“I think it’s just amazing that the Mexican government, along with President Calderon and the bordering governors that interact with us, they do not want our borders secure,” Brewer said in a telephone interview today. “I mean, they have made it very, very clear.”

When asked why she believed Calderon does not want the U.S.-Mexico border secured, Brewer said, “I believe that he believes that he is helping out the federal administration and they are looking at it in a political mode to bring in newly registered illegal immigrants to register to vote.”

Brewer, a Republican, also said Calderon “wants those dollars that they are raising here in Arizona and in all America being sent back to Mexico to push up his economy.”And also Calderon wants to EXPORT poverty out of Mexico into the United States; he wants us to take care of his poor, because he can’t.

I’ll say this to Mr. Calderon; you’ve GOT a whole lot of GUTS my friend. “You can’t have your cake and EAT it too.” You can’t expect the U.S. not to secure the border, while at the same time you are asking for the U.S. to stop the drug trades and the export of illegal guns into Mexico, it makes YOU sound hypocritical and idiotic.

Mr. Calderon has fought EVERY U.S. intentions on securing the Mexican border. When former President George Bush increased the border patrols around May 2006, Mr. Calderon was right there fighting against it. And when Arizona passed their SB1070, the GET TOUGHER on illegal immigrants’ law that was passed and Mexico was one of the key signers in Federal court to repeal the law.

John Kyle (R-AZ) that he would not secure the Mexican border because Democrats would lose it as a bargaining chip against Republicans, who he feared would then not support a future comprehensive Immigration Reform Bill (amnesty).”

In the end, who really has it worst? The United States has been replaced by cheaper labor and flooded by millions of uneducated illegal immigrants, who have depressed American wages, but while Mexico has had over 44,000 killings, with numerous highly publicized mass killings, with a possible topple of their government by drug cartels.

I think Calderon lost this battle.In essence folks, we’ve got a Mexican president whose getting the royal paybacks for NOT securing the border himself. If Calderon is so worried about the killings GOING on in his country, I think Calderon and the Mexican government should be securing their borders for their “national security,” don’t you think?

If there’s a clear cut case for political and regulations tails wagging the dog. This has got to be the one. 

San Francisco resident Linda Votaw moved to her home on Potrero Hill back in 1998. It came with a tree out front, after a while the roots of the tree were cracking hers and the public sidewalk.

This happened numerous of times, and Ms. Votaw, as a decent San Francisco citizen always repaired the sidewalk damage.

Contractors told her the tree was too big, the roots would keep damaging the concrete sidewalk. Well, this continued until the tree roots had invaded the sewer lines. Then she got a two days notice from the city’s public works, demanding the immediate removal of the damaging tree.

After obliging the order, then Ms. Linda Votaw gets another letter from the city, a FINE of $1,700 for excessive removal of the tree, without permission and failing to get a $300.00 tree removal permit. Gee whiz folks? Now we can see why decent people want to get the heck out of this city in droves.

City politicians and with their screwed up Liberal policies, city departments don’t know their hole, iotas from a hole in the ground about what’s going on in the city, but the citizenry always gets screwed somewhere along the line.

Pro-illegal immigrant supporter, RACIST and panderer, Ruben Navarrette Jr. is again with his Latino Kool-Aid. Of course newspapers like the San Diego Tribune and the San Francisco Chronicle, give him avenues for his crazed opinions on how mal treated American Hispanics are.

If you are ignorant, you would probably believe the line of B.S. he’s propagandizing through liberal mediums. He criticized the NBC-Comcast merger, the missing story is there are 50 million Hispanics, making up about 16% of the population in America.

Latinos made half the growth of the U.S. population in the past decade. Thanks for decades of rampant and out of control illegal migrations, Navarrette sees the United States as transforming into a Latino country.

He’s also saying EVEN if ‘nativists’ get their fantasies, or get their way to completely seal off the U.S.-Mexican border, it’s TOO-LATE for us to do anything about it. So he’s accusing that’s the real reasons for Secures Community Act, it’s more to remove unwanted Latinos, rather than illegal immigration controls.

But this isn’t all from Ruben Nvarrette, and now the in your face and drug induced Ruben Navarrette criticizes NBC for not hiring enough Latinos. So this RACIST calls NBC as ‘Nothing But Caucasians,’ so to him, media is ignoring the largest minority group in America.

Navarrette goes on to argue after the $30 billion mergers, they are not offering Hispanics anything, including in heavily Latino city like Los Angeles, where it’s 48% percent Latino and yet there are no Latino anchors and few journalists in L.A.

Okay, I’ve got my own prescription and solutions to idiotic Ruben Navarrette’s rants. First of all, I cannot fathom how major news organizations can print these kinds of RACIST diatribes, from a known RACIST Latino syndicated journalist.

His entire opinion not only was dumb, it doesn’t make any sense. We all know, we have seen the stats, a very high percentage of Latino/Hispanics don’t SPEAK ENGLISH. Secondly, Latinos have far more programming in their OWN language than any other minorities in this country. They’ve got more radio stations, TV than any other minorities, including Asians.

You don’t hear Asians bitch about what our television networks are doing. And there’s another FACT that Mr. Navarrette has openly ignored. If you go into Latino/Hispanic neighborhoods, every Tiendas, taquerias and restaurants, the television is always set on Univison and Telemundo.

Even at homes, most Hispanics look at their own language television, rather than English, and I don’t hear those Hispanics bitching about NBC. The 48% of Latinos in L.A. that Navarrette is talking about, pretty much 30% or more wouldn’t understand what a Latino anchor would be talking about anyway! Of course, this is only coming from that RACIST loony-tunes Navarrette of course.

You’d think that President Obama is the only one talking about cutting down on some restrictive business regulations and fees, then you would think California Liberals invented it.

Even California liberal lawmakers are realizing that they’ve chased out to many businesses and JOBS out of the state, because of their insane environmental and crazy unaffordable fees that go along doing business in California.

So they are looking to revamp the whole sorry jobs killing system. We’ll see, won’t we?

But the bottom lines, if we don’t keep manufacturing jobs in America, were screwed! Hey step over California! How hard has California fallen? Okay, I will say this; in regards to THUGS and gangbangers at professional ballparks. 

After two people were shot, and one was beaten almost to a coma in the stadium’s restroom, during Saturday’s San Francisco’s 49er-Raiders game Saturday. It’s obvious to me that the quality of fans have degenerated at major sporting events in California.

In Los Angeles, after paramedic Bryan Stow, got beaten to a coma by two Hispanic gangbangers after the San Francisco-Dodgers game. The problem with California, the state allowed and protected illegal immigrants for so long, and MOST of these gang members today are offspring of undocumented parents.

Then you add in African American gangsters into the mix for good measure, and with that, we’ve got an extremely explosive situation, like the one that happened Saturday in Candlestick Park. Who’s to blame? If you go to Oakland and watch the Raiders play, you’ve got nothing but gangster youths of all races dominating the stadium these days.

It used to be a whole lot of fun going to sporting games with family and now it’s like a WAR zone. You can’t blame the police, but the direct blame goes to the sports franchise owners. In this sorry economy, franchise owners are so desperate to sell game tickets, that they’ll take anybody and even those troublemakers, with their baggy pants and all, it’s always about the American way, the mighty dollar over people’s safety.

You’ve GOT scum of the earth youths causing havoc around the state, and we’ve got team owners and their politicians living in “Disney-Land.”

Wisconsin recall elections of GOP/Republican incumbent state senators failed. It isn’t so much a surprise, this tells me, us, that GOP/Republicans are far more popular than government employees and their unions.

Big labor did NOT get the support or sympathy that they wanted from the public-at-large. After labor unions and their members, shelled out $16 million combined to recall nine state politicians, mainly GOP who was architects of biggest labor union reforms in decades that helped save taxpayers billions failed.

The American Federation of State, county and municipal employees, AFL –CIO and the Wisconsin Education Association Council poured over $10 million dollars, while being outnumbered by almost 10 to 1 in election funds, the Republicans prevailed in the end. Out of eight seats at stake, only two were lost.

The whole labor movement behind these recalls was a way to send shockwaves throughout the nation, and to other lawmakers in other states, primarily GOP, “that when you SCREW with government employees and their unions, you’re going to be FIRED!”

They tried that don’t MESS with us, or there will be payback crap! But the people of Wisconsin didn’t BUY it and they spoke loudly and said NO! 

The voters saw behind the masquerades of government employees and their unions GREED, they saw that it was all about their money and their lives, but it wasn’t for the taxpayer’s money or their lives. In the end, government employees, and their $16 million, their unions, all got you’re FIRED notices from the VOTERS.

Social Security disability on verge of insolvency “Laid-off workers and aging baby boomers are flooding Social Security's disability program with benefit claims, pushing the financially strapped system toward the brink of insolvency.

Applications are up nearly 50 percent over a decade ago as people with disabilities lose their jobs and can't find new ones in an economy that has shed nearly 7 million jobs.

The stampede for benefits is adding to a growing backlog of applicants — many wait two years or more before their cases are resolved — and worsening the financial problems of a program that's been running in the red for years.

New congressional estimates say the trust fund that supports Social Security disability will run out of money by 2017, leaving the program unable to pay full benefits, unless Congress acts. About two decades later, Social Security's much larger retirement fund is projected to run dry as well.

Claims for disability benefits typically increase in a bad economy because many disabled people get laid off and can't find a new job. This year, about 3.3 million people are expected to apply for federal disability benefits. That's 700,000 more than in 2008 and 1 million more than a decade ago.

"It's primarily economic desperation," Social Security Commissioner Michael Astrue said in an interview. "People on the margins that get bad news in terms of a layoff and have no other place to go and they take a shot at disability,"

The disability program is also being hit by an aging population — disability rates rise as people get older — as well as a system that encourages people to apply for more generous disability benefits rather than waiting until they qualify for retirement.

Retirees can get full Social Security benefits at age 66, a threshold gradually rising to 67. Early retirees can get reduced benefits at 62. However, if you qualify for disability, you can get full benefits, based on your work history, even before 62.

Today, about 13.6 million people receive disability benefits through Social Security or Supplemental Security Income. Social Security is for people with substantial work histories, and monthly disability payments average $927. Supplemental Security Income does not require a work history but it has strict limits on income and assets. Monthly SSI payments average $500.”

With good American corporate friends like this who NEEDS JOBS? Guess Where Coca-Cola Is Investing $4 Billion “Who says American companies aren't investing? They are.  Billions and in fact, only, they are just not investing here in the U.S.

Atlanta based Coca-Cola (KO) plans to invest $4 billion in China, the company's CEO Muhtar Kent told reporters in Shanghai this week. It's the company's biggest planned investment in China since the 2009 investment of $2 billion. The investments will start next year and is part of the company's China capex until 2014.

Kent said the company is even considering listing its shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, adding itself to the list of mainstream brands listing their depositary receipts on exchanges outside of their home base. Massachusetts luggage maker Samsonite opted to list in Hong Kong in the second quarter rather than do its initial public offering on the NYSE.  The new China investments will focus on innovation, infrastructure and expansion of its production capacity. The company now has six manufacturing centers in the country.

"U.S. corporations are actually in good shape and a lot of that is due to emerging markets, particularly the BRIC countries," fund manager Paul Dietrich of Foxhall Capital Management in Orange, Conn told Forbes on Friday. The BRIC countries are Brazil, Russia, India and China.

Low growth in the U.S. and Europe has essentially forced the hands of the big multinationals to look for growth elsewhere. "In this low growth environment, we will continue to see European and American multinational companies spending in countries far from home," says Martin Schulz, managing director of international equities at PNC Capital Advisors in Columbus, Ohio.”

This is what I have been talking about! We should be creating JOBS in America, not China.

I don’t really blame Americans going for SSI or SSDI; they all deserve it, especially when we’ve U.S. companies like Coca-Cola are deserting us, investing their billions elsewhere but for Americans or for America!

Unemployment benefits rose again more than expected last week and jumped back above the average 400,000 level, signaling that the job market remains stuck in the mud. 

There were 408,000 initial unemployment claims filed in the week ended Aug. 13, the Labor Department said Thursday, up 9,000 from an upwardly revised 399,000 the prior week.

President Obama's approval rating on the most important issue for his re-election, the economy and JOBS, has fallen to the lowest level of his presidency, according to a poll released Wednesday by Gallup.

Just over one in four of those asked say they approve of his performance. “The 26 percent approval rating is down from 37 percent in May and almost 10 percentage points below his prior low of 35 percent in November 2010. His disapproval rating on the economy jumped 11 points from May to 71 percent, also a record for his time in office.”

Not only his numbers at Gallup bleak, a Pew poll has his re-election number at 41% as independents are abandoning him in droves!

Obama has got even more troubles from his OWN race. Representative Maxine Waters, a Democrat from Los Angeles, told a crowd in Detroit: "We do not put pressure on the president because y'all love the president. You are very proud to have a black man as president for the very first time in the history of the United States of America. If we go after the president too hard, you are going after us."

People in the crowd shouted out that she should press Mr. Obama on issues like unemployment, which is 16 per cent among American blacks compared to the 9.1 per cent overall jobless rate."When you unleash us ... and tell us it is all right to have this conversation, we are ready to have this conversation," she responded.

The comments from Miss Waters, the senior black woman in Congress, are the latest indication of deep dissatisfaction with Obama among Democratic "base" voters.

I can’t help think where President Obama went wrong with his presidential career. I’ll have to go back when he campaigned for the U.S. presidency. We already began seeing some economic demise in 2007-2008 while he ran for the presidency and that was his campaign theme at the time.

Obama spoke-up and fired up America to vote for the first African American president in U.S. history, and with all that song and dance, most people believed that real ‘hope and change’ was coming.  

Obama sensed American anger towards U.S. Congress, he promised that he would bring government back to the American people, wrest it away from ‘special interests’ and that’s what fired up American voters of all races that got him elected.

Obama promised numerous things, including changes in the ‘business as usual’ political structures of Washington D.C., getting rid of special interests out of Washington D.C., which never materialized.

On the contrary folks, president Obama became the biggest special interests president America has ever seen. Obama pandered to labor unions, Wall Street, the medical industries and pharmaceuticals by giving those most favorable profitable advantages, sweet-heart deals from Obamacare, and bailouts to federal contracts.

Obama on the campaign trail, promised that he would work with Republicans on important issues facing the nation, and when disastrous Obamacare came along, he did it on his own accord along with his Democratic conies, without any GOP assistance.

Obama wasted his first two years in office, while his own party, the Democratic Party was in power to push for unpopular leftist agendas. It also didn’t help when President Obama created tougher carbon policies that killed hundreds-thousands of American jobs, and Obama failed to keep jobs from being outsourced abroad as he promised.

Obama said that as president, he was going to redo NAFTA to our advantage, which was never true.

According to Donald Trump, who had the best idea on getting outsourcing jobs abroad disease reversed, was to slap hefty tariffs on all imports, this in turn would have forced companies, those who want to do business with the number one consumer in the world, to come back to America, hire Americans and produce things here once again like they were back then, before all the pro-globalization BS’s.

 While the economy and JOBS were in shambles, President Obama spent his sweet time pushing for unpopular Obamacare, amnesties for undocumented aliens, immigrations reforms benefitting illegal’s, and unionized federal contracts, and Wall Street bailouts, while Americans were losing jobs by the millions.

Americans were losing jobs in droves, while Obama kept pandering to Latino groups with the DREAM Act, and refusing to secure the porous borders as promised during his presidential campaign.

The constant pushing for illegal’s elusive amnesties, while African Americans became the most economically worse-off and the most unemployed in U.S. history was more than enough to get the black folks angry at him. After all this, I predict a much less black turnout for the Obama 2012 re-election presidency.

African Americans were screaming for his help and for jobs to live on, while Americans as a whole were screaming for more JOBS, and here’s Obama pandering again, his love affair with Hispanic/Latino groups never ends.

Under fire from Hispanic groups for record-high deportations, “the Obama administration said Thursday it will undertake a case-by-case review of illegal immigrants who are facing ouster from the country and will allow many who don’t have criminal records the chance to stay.

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano announced that there will be an indefinite delay in many deportations and individual case reviews of the approximately 300,000 illegal immigrants who are currently facing possible expulsion, the AP reported.

Last year, the Obama administration deported nearly 400,000 people — a record number. Of the 393,000 deported, fewer than half of those were convicted criminals.”

The rising number of deportations has angered the Hispanic community, a key voting bloc for President Barack Obama, and there were protests organized by Latinos around the country about it earlier this week.

The administration said Thursday its top priority will be targeting illegal immigrants with criminal convictions for deportation.

Those who are low priorities for deporting — such as young people who were brought to the U.S. as children, military veterans and spouses of military personnel — will no longer be a focus.”

So! The bottom line for 2012; President Obama thinks he’s got the black vote in the bag. He also realizes that he lost millions of his white voters, so now he thinks that the Latino voters will make up the difference. I think this is a very poor judgment on his part, if he thinks that will ever materialize.

If you want to fly an airplane, the Federal government makes you BUY a license, or otherwise, you cannot fly a plane. 

If you want to travel abroad, the Federal government makes you BUY a passport otherwise, you cannot leave this country.

If you want to pilot a big ship, you need a maritime pilot’s license, or otherwise you cannot pilot a ship. If you’re driving an automobile, a state may require you to carry insurance, if you don’t want to, then don’t drive and same thing with medical licenses and everything else you want a license for.

What’s the common denominator for all this? You see folks; there are NO mandated governments that FORCE you to do anything you don’t want to. It’s all about ‘freedom of choice,’ if you don’t want to agree with government policies, you just don’t get what you want from them. You don’t get fined or go to JAIL if you decide you don’t want to carry auto insurance, you just don’t drive, period.

Well, the problem with Obamacare, it was a constitutional overreach by Obama and the Democrats. It’s basically illegal for our government to force anybody, us to buy anything, a product and threaten people with fines and Jail Time for not doing it and including President Obama’s illegal health insurance.

So a Federal appeals court in the 11th Circuit, struck down that illegal requirement in Obamacare that forces people to buy more expensive insurance than they should. The individual mandate GOT struck down, Friday, and now it NOT valid.

Most likely it’s going to the Supreme Court soon and I am sure the Supreme Court is not going to rock that popular thinking on this issue. The problem with Obamacare, the BAD planning for this insurance, was to make people pay higher, to astronomical rates to help the poor uninsured, including undocumented aliens get healthcare.

That’s why we have General Hospitals, for the poor and uninsured and undocumented. Regardless about taxpayers having to foot the bill argument on uninsured, where Obamacare went totally wrong, it helped provide more profit to the insurance and medical industries, instead of LOWERING the astronomical medical and pharmaceutical costs on all Americans.

Had President Obama and Democrats went with the savings route, rather than handing billion dollar profits on a silver platter to the insurance and medical industries, it would have been far more popular. The decision made by Chief Circuit Judge Frank Hull, found the individual mandate contained in the Act exceeds congress’s authority enumerated under the Commerce Power Act.

And we’re now finding out that President Obama lied about Obamacare also. The Feds are proportioning money for healthcare to help cover illegal immigrant FREE healthcare. “The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced on Tuesday that it has awarded $28.8 million to 67 community health centers with funds from the Obamacare health reform law. But as part of that sum, CNS reports that ”approximately $8.5 million will be used by 25 New Access Point awardees to target services to migrant and seasonal farm workers,” and an HHS official said, “grant recipients will not check the immigration status of people seeking services.

‘Health centers do not, as a matter of routine practice, ask about or collect data on citizenship or other matters not related to the treatment needs of the patients seeking health services at the center,’ Further, the grant recipients are ‘required to serve all residents’ who walk through their doors."

Good news; illegal immigrants finally lose one, an Obama rebuke to San Francisco Sheriff Michael Hennessey and other liberal sanctuary cities, supporters of illegal immigrants. “Immigrant rights advocates and a Bay Area lawmaker blasted the Obama administration Monday for stripping states of any power over a national fingerprint-sharing program intended to ease deportations of illegal immigrants held in jail.

Advocacy groups in California called the administration's decision to enforce the Secure Communities program on its own, with no state participation, a "shocking display of bad faith" and urged Gov. Jerry Brown and Attorney General Kamala Harris to speak out against it.

The program requires local jails to send federal authorities the fingerprints of everyone they take into custody so they can be checked against immigration records. It began in 2008 with voluntary state participation - California signed up in 2009 - and is scheduled to become mandatory in 2013.

Officials with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which runs Secure Communities, said the goal is to focus deportation efforts on dangerous criminals. But opponents of the program say nearly half of the more than 100,000 placed in deportation proceedings had either a minor criminal record or none at all.

My opinion about illegal immigration will not swagger. To all those pro-illegal immigration loons out there, the bottom line; if you don’t like OUR immigration laws, get the heck out of my country, period. Well that’s why you got your own country to go to silly.

After the British riots, and what truly ails Great Britain, it’s not law enforcement problems; it’s their criminal court systems and going after 'freedom of speech' isn't the solution to their problems.

English Prime Minister David Cameron says that Great Britain would look to the United States for advice and solutions to their gang problems, after four nights of violent riots, looting and mayhem. But obviously stung by recent violent British riots, we can all see that the British government is a little out of touch controlling public mayhem's.

There’s no doubt London police were overwhelmed by mobile groups of thugs, and the British government wants to achieve more power, including limiting and shutting down ‘freedom of speech’ domains like Tweeter, Facebook and Blackberry Messaging, to prevent this kinds of shenanigans from ever reoccurring again.

But I will say this to Prime Minister David Cameron, when you come looking to the United States for advice, and just coming to America and going for most sought after Police Chief William Bratton, isn’t YOUR only solutions to your problems, you’d better take another LOOK at your weak and very lax European court systems.

Yes, that’s right. Britain as is the case with most of Europe, who had decades of Liberal influences within their court systems, where criminals practically get off Scott free, or short sentences for serious offences, there aren’t any deterrents to keep criminals from doing serious criminal activities.

What we saw in Great Britain happening, this wasn’t a breakdown of British law enforcement, it was a complete breakdown of its court systems and justice enforcement departments.

Those people, thugs went out there with impunity, without a care or worry in the world, about the consequences of their ACTIONS. Had those thugs known that they’d be facing severe charges and serious JAIL times for their actions, and maybe Great Britain would have had a very different outcome on things?

Point blank; that’s where you need to look sir, Mr. Cameron. Not banning or cutting off Tweeter, Facebook or Blackberry Messaging. If you don’t believe me, take Norway for example.

Confessed Norwegian MASS-Murderer Behring Breivik, who massacred over 90 people, and with screwy Liberal Norwegian laws, he will only get maximum thirty-years prison for his crimes! After thirty-years maximum folks, this killer of children will walk free for killing over ninety-people!

That’s the problem with Liberal mentality of justice. It’s the “oh, poor criminal, it wasn’t his entire fault, just give him a break will you’ mentality. Now Norway, dominated by years of weak and lax Liberal laws, they are going to have a mass killer free within thirty-years.

Here in America, we have NO TOLERANCE for criminal activities. U.S. Liberals tried to liberalize our justice systems. At one time, Liberals tried to break down our justice systems and make OURS like YOURS.

About a decade ago, we almost became like YOU Great Britain, we almost became like YOU Norway, but here in America we have harsh sentences, life sentences, and death penalties for earthily killer scum like Behring Breivik.

And sadly to say, it’s ironic indeed; the two nations who have been in the forefront and most critical of U.S. harshness, and mainly on death penalty issues within our criminal justice systems, are now stuck in their own perverted, created ways of injustices for its own people.

This is the latest GAO report on the Federal Reserve that came out last month however; it’s interesting to note that conservative Elite Medias and EVEN major Liberal Elite Medias haven’t touched this one with a ten-foot pole. Now we all know on what side of the fence they are, don’t you think?

While SORRY presidents and Washington politicians are talking about cutting needed benefits on Americans, and while they are talking about cuts to Social Security, Veterans Benefits, and Medicare, they sure have the billions or trillions of OUR hard earned money, taxpayer’s moneys to be exact, to pay-off their billionaire’s BOYS club members.

This is an OTRAGE folks; we’re BAILING out the whole WORLD! Those people are getting our bailout moneys, while we’re all going broke, with no jobs, no homes, all the while these Wealthy Elites, refuse to pay their fair share of taxes. How sorry is that?

From Senator Bernie Sanders, RE: The Fed Audit: “The first top-to-bottom audit of the Federal Reserve uncovered eye-popping new details about how the U.S. provided a whopping $16 trillion in secret loans to bail out American and foreign banks and businesses during the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. 

An amendment by Sen. Bernie Sanders to the Wall Street reform law passed one year ago this week directed the Government Accountability Office to conduct the study.

"As a result of this audit, we now know that the Federal Reserve provided more than $16 trillion in total financial assistance to some of the largest financial institutions and corporations in the United States and throughout the world," said Sanders. "This is a clear case of socialism for the rich and rugged, you're-on-your-own individualism for everyone else."

Among the investigation's key findings is that the Fed unilaterally provided trillions of dollars in financial assistance to foreign banks and corporations from South Korea to Scotland, according to the GAO report. "No agency of the United States government should be allowed to bailout a foreign bank or corporation without the direct approval of Congress and the president," Sanders said.

The non-partisan, investigative arm of Congress also determined that the Fed lacks a comprehensive system to deal with conflicts of interest, despite the serious potential for abuse.  In fact, according to the report, the Fed provided conflict of interest waivers to employees and private contractors so they could keep investments in the same financial institutions and corporations that were given emergency loans.

For example, the CEO of JP Morgan Chase served on the New York Fed's board of directors at the same time that his bank received more than $390 billion in financial assistance from the Fed.  Moreover, JP Morgan Chase served as one of the clearing banks for the Fed's emergency lending programs.

In another disturbing finding, the GAO said that on Sept. 19, 2008, William Dudley, who is now the New York Fed president, was granted a waiver to let him keep investments in AIG and General Electric at the same time AIG and GE were given bailout funds.  One reason the Fed did not make Dudley sell his holdings, according to the audit, was that it might have created the appearance of a conflict of interest.

To Sanders, the conclusion is simple. "No one who works for a firm receiving direct financial assistance from the Fed should be allowed to sit on the Fed's board of directors or be employed by the Fed," he said.

The investigation also revealed that the Fed outsourced most of its emergency lending programs to private contractors, many of which also were recipients of extremely low-interest and then-secret loans.

The Fed outsourced virtually all of the operations of their emergency lending programs to private contractors like JP Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, and Wells Fargo.  The same firms also received trillions of dollars in Fed loans at near-zero interest rates. Altogether some two-thirds of the contracts that the Fed awarded to manage its emergency lending programs were no-bid contracts. Morgan Stanley was given the largest no-bid contract worth $108.4 million to help manage the Fed bailout of AIG.

A more detailed GAO investigation into potential conflicts of interest at the Fed is due on Oct. 18, but Sanders said one thing already is abundantly clear. "The Federal Reserve must be reformed to serve the needs of working families, not just CEOs on Wall Street."

What GAO Found; “On numerous occasions in 2008 and 2009, the Federal Reserve Board invoked emergency authority under the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 to authorize new broad-based programs and financial assistance to individual institutions to stabilize financial markets.

Loans outstanding for the emergency programs peaked at more than $1 trillion in late 2008. The Federal Reserve Board directed the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (FRBNY) to implement most of these emergency actions. In a few cases, the Federal Reserve Board authorized a Reserve Bank to lend to a limited liability corporation (LLC) to finance the purchase of assets from a single institution.

In late 2008 and early 2009, the Federal Reserve Board again invoked its authority under section 13(3) of the Federal Reserve Act to authorize assistance to avert the failures of three institutions that it determined to be systemically significant: (1) American International Group, Inc. (AIG); (2) Citigroup, Inc. (Citigroup); and (3) Bank of America Corporation (Bank of America).

In fall 2008, the Federal Reserve Board received a number of requests for swap lines arrangements from foreign central banks in countries with emerging market economies. An October 2008 Federal Reserve Board staff memorandum outlined criteria in support of a recommendation that the FOMC approve swap lines with four emerging market- economy central banks.

FOMC approvals of swap line requests from such banks were generally based on the economic and financial mass of the country’s economy, a record of sound economic management, and the probability that the swap line would make an economic difference.119

According to Federal Reserve Board staff, the swap line arrangements were generally made with foreign central banks of important U.S. trading partners or global financial centers, such as Switzerland, Japan, and England, based on global funding needs.”

Under TAF, approximately 65 percent of the loans were made to U.S. branches, agencies, and subsidiaries of foreign institutions. Federal Reserve Board officials told us that the use of the program by U.S. branches and agencies of foreign banks was expected because these institutions were facing liquidity strains in dollar funding markets.

FRBNY staff identified a few possible reasons for high use by U.S. branches and agencies of foreign banks. First, many of them faced liquidity strains arising from the need to bring certain illiquid U.S. dollar assets back onto their balance sheets and could not finance these assets elsewhere.128 In addition, many of these institutions held U.S.-dollar dominated collateral that could be pledged to TAF but not in their home country.

After the Dow plunging another 634 points with credit downgrades from triple A’s to double A+, on the United States, all this is enough to break down an entire Empire. I don’t know how to say it, but we’re in deep, deep trouble and we haven’t seen anything yet.

President Obama is now talking about CREATING jobs, however, U.S. Congress and American president do not create jobs, but it is their crazy policies they initiated together and that they put in place that is destroying American jobs.

If anybody had any doubts, there should be no more doubt about it; we’ve got the MOST inept sitting U.S. president ever, along with an extremely incompetent U.S. Congress.

Back around 2008, when then candidate Obama and Senator John McCain were pitted against each other for the U.S. presidency, I said then, as I am saying it now, they have no way of fixing the declining economy, and loss of jobs, because they made a big MESS out of the economy, through years of bad policies.

I have been blogging since June 2007, and I have been writing about the imminent collapse of our economy in 2008. Every single major policy that U.S. congress has enacted under GOP/Republican House and Senate controls, along with their Democrat counterparts since 1994, were all pro-corporate, pro-Wall Street, anti-labor, and anti-public interest.

First, “there was NAFTA, which was signed by President George H.W. Bush, Mexican President Salinas, and Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney in 1992. It was ratified by the legislatures of the three countries in 1993. The House approved it by 234 to 200 on November 17 and the Senate by 60 to 38 on November 20. It was signed into law by President Bill Clinton on December 8, 1993 and entered force January 1, 1994.”

The goal of NAFTA was to eliminate barriers of trade and investment between the US, Canada and Mexico. NAFTA was formed to grant the signatories Most Favored Nation status and eliminate trade barriers and facilitate the cross-border movement of goods and services, with NO TARIFFS.

“The implementation of NAFTA on January 1, 1994, brought the immediate elimination of tariffs on more than one half of U.S. imports from Mexico and more than one third of U.S. exports to Mexico. Within 10 years of the implementation of the agreement, all US-Mexico tariffs would be eliminated except for some U.S. agricultural exports to Mexico that were to be phased out in 15 years. Most US-Canada trade was already duty free. NAFTA also seeks to eliminate non-tariff trade barriers.”

What WAS supposed to be for Canadian and Mexican manufactured products only, Wall Street, and U.S. politicians, but mainly GOP and other U.S. owned corporations, and formerly employers of millions of American workers saw the loopholes under George Bush, and with no-tariffs to worry about, relocated their factories to Mexico and left hundreds of thousand’s American blue collar workers unemployed.

And then the World Trade Organization (WTO) came along, “an organization that intends to supervise and liberalize international trade. Basically folks, WTO’s were the bigger version of NAFTA, and with more teeth in it, where they would get more countries involved, including China in 2001.”

The organization officially commenced on January 1, 1995, which was launched in 2001 (Under former President George Bush), being publicized to enhance equitable participation of poorer countries which represent a majority of the world's population, but in truth, it was to allow floodgates of American industries to go abroad, other than Mexico, for far cheaper labor and more PROFIT and that’s when China comes into the picture.

And then there’s this; the 2005 Bankruptcy Reform Bites Back “For consumers, debt relief is harder to come by and those are adding to housing woes and score one for the law of unintended consequences.
In past periods of economic turbulence, American households were able to escape mountains of bad debt—and keep their homes—by declaring bankruptcy.

During the weak growth years from 2001 to 2003, for example, non-business bankruptcy petitions averaged roughly 1.5 million per year. Lenders complained bitterly that bankruptcy was too easy, but because financially stressed Americans could write off their credit card and other consumer debt, they had more money available to pay their mortgages.

But today's growing problem in the housing market is different—foreclosures are soaring, while bankruptcies, though clearly on the upswing, are running roughly at half the 2001-2003 pace. The reason: A new bankruptcy law, approved by Congress in 2005 after years of debate, makes it much harder for households to get out from under their consumer debt.

The result: More people being forced to walk away from their homes, leaving lenders holding the bag. Perversely, a law intended to help the financial industry may be damaging the housing sector, creditors and borrowers alike. "It doesn't matter what you think of the purpose of the new bankruptcy law. The timing is bad," says Susan M. Wachter, professor of real estate at the Wharton School of Business.

The old bankruptcy law, in effect since 1978, was considered extremely housing-friendly. Most distressed borrowers favored filing under Chapter 7, essentially cheap, quick debt liquidation and in practice, most got to keep their homes, while the rest of their property and assets were sold off to pay portions of unsecured debts such as credit-card and medical bills. When the assets ran out, the remaining loans were cancelled—although some debts were off limits, like student loans and child support. Future paychecks could go to mortgage payments.”

The results are now in; as Corporate Profits Rise, Workers’ Income Declines, “the Commerce Department last week reduced its estimates of economic growth in 2010 and early 2011. At the same time, it said corporate income was much better than it had thought. Using newly available data from 2009 corporate tax returns, the department raised its estimates of corporate profits by 8.3 percent for 2009 and 10.8 percent for 2010.

The new figures indicate that corporate profits accounted for 14 percent of the total national income in 2010, the highest proportion ever recorded. The previous peak, of 13.6 percent, was set in 1942 when the need for war materials filled the order books of companies at the same time as the government imposed wage and price controls, holding down the costs companies had to pay.

In the first quarter of 2011, the latest figures available, the new estimates indicate corporate profits accounted for 14.2 percent of national income, well above the 13.1 percent that had previously been estimated.

The latest figures indicate the smaller businesses’ share of national income fell to a 17-year low of 7.7 percent in 2009, but recovered to 8.3 percent in 2010 and in the first quarter of this year.

Employees have always received more than half the total national income, until now. In 2010, the percentage of national income devoted to wages and salaries fell to 49.9 percent, and it slipped a little more to 49.6 percent in the first quarter of this year. That continued decline may help explain the economic worries of many Americans who have jobs but still fear they are falling behind.

The 2010 total, of 62.1 percent, is not close to the record low share of 54.5 percent, set in 1929, the first year for which numbers are available. But it is the lowest for any full year since 1965. In the first quarter of 2011, it slipped further, to 61.7 percent.

One way to look at recent trends is to compare the total income figures for 2010 with those of 2006, before the economy began to slide into recession. In nominal dollars, not adjusted for inflation, national income was 6.7 percent higher in 2010 — a gain that did not come close to matching the 8.2 percent rise in the consumer price index.

Total employee compensation, including benefits, rose 6.6 percent, although wages and salaries gained only 5.6 percent. Corporate profits were 11.9 percent higher, while proprietors’ income was down 8.5 percent. Corporate profits more than kept up with inflation. Other categories of income did not.”

Backlash 1; A USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds signs that another "wave" election with the potential to dramatically change the capital's political makeup may be building. “Only 24% of those surveyed say most members of Congress deserve re-election, the lowest standing since Gallup began asking the question in 1991. 

Fifty-six percent say their own representative deserves another term, similar to responses just before tumultuous elections in 1994, 2006 and 2010 that changed control of the House or Senate.

And 51% majority of Americans, “say President Obama doesn't deserve re-election; 47% say he does. In another question, Obama bests an unnamed Republican presidential candidate by 48%-45%, though he remains below the 50% threshold.

"Is there substantial dissatisfaction with the direction of the country, with the way things are, with the people in charge? The answer to that is yes," says Stuart Rothenberg, editor and publisher of the non-partisan Rothenberg Political Report, who has written about the prospect of a fourth "wave" election in a row. Less clear is whether voters are ready to blame one party or the other.

"These numbers don't say Obama is going to lose," he adds, "but as long as you have a majority of people who are disapproving and you have the president sitting only in the upper 40s, he's still at great risk."

The 2012 election is 15 months away, which is plenty of time for the political landscape to shift. About this time before the 1994 election, when Democrats lost control of the House and Senate, dismay with Congress already was set. But a year before the 2006 election, when Democrats regained control of both houses and incumbents still had somewhat higher support.”

If congressional elections were held today, Americans by 49%-45% say they would vote for the Democratic candidate over the Republican.

Backlash 2; CNN’s poll of adults (not registered or even likely voters) has found that President Obama’s job approval numbers have reached an all time low (for CNN polls). “At 44 percent approval and 54 percent disapproval, these numbers are surprising because Gallup and Rasmussen Report’s daily tracking polls of the President have been surprisingly resilient over the last five days given the news. Thursday: 500 point loss on the Dow. Friday: S&P downgrades U.S. credit. Monday: another 633 point loss.

The president has lost approval in almost every area, reaching all time lows on the economy, the budget deficit and even foreign affairs. Only on the issue of terrorism does the president still receive positive marks, at 62 percent approval 35 percent disapproval.

Electorally problematic for Obama is his present standing among independents. CNN finds that 36 percent of unaffiliated adults approve of the job Barack Obama is doing as president, while 62 percent disapprove. Furthermore, “only 25 percent of independents approve of how Obama’s handling the economy.” Those are rough numbers.”

Looking back at everything now, it does look like the upcoming 2012 elections, might just be an anti-Wall Street backlash, and it may ensnare U.S. politicians, mainly politicians who are deeply involved and indebted to those people.
